Hi all! I just completed moving all of my albums to another set of shelves. It's been a while since I have looked at them and I noticed today that some of my strap hinge albums are falling apart. I'd like to move the pages in these albums to a post-bound or D-ring album.
Has anyone done this? Any tips?
Thanks!

When I did this years ago, I carefully removed any pages that were done on background paper and the tried not to tear the page apart if possible. Then for ones done directly on the page I had two choices- I cut off the edges (the solid part on the left and right where the hinges and edge were) or I carefully took piece by piece off and put them on a 12x12 paper. Since my pages were less complex back then and I planned to reuse the hinge page I tended to do the second but either worked.

I just finished transferring 25 post bound albums to Hobby Lobby's 3 ring binders. My post bound were falling apart just sitting on the shelves. I held off changing over for a long time because I didn't want the gap. I traded that for sturdiness and the ability to easily move pages around. I wish I had done it sooner!
