We're going up on Saturday, it's clearly between seasons. Off to Google and try to find some gentle hikes in the area. There will be 7 of us, including a pregnant DD and an 18 month old who loves to run.

There’s still snow. They got dumped on less than a week ago.

There’s still snow. They got dumped on less than a week ago. They set a single day snowfall record on Sunday. There will also probably be snow on the lower hiking trails, so be prepared.

Thank you for the heads up!!
Personally I don't care if we sit indoors all day ... I'll have our entire little family all together for the first time in 13 months! I would have loved it if it was going to be warmer and we could easily go hiking....
I'd like to have some ideas to suggest - any indoor stuff of interest? I'm guessing that would be in South Tahoe...

The north side is quieter. The south has more things to do - shopping, gambling, eating, night life, etc.
Heavenly Valley, on the south side, has a shopping/dining/music village, and the gondola runs all-year round so you can take a ride up the mountain.
