Good morning.
Oh, thank goodness. The universe has deemed it the day to return the cats home. We're just waiting an hour or so, in order head home to meet the termite guys. Big cat woke me up many times last night by jumping on the bed and loudly meowing at me. They still hate eachother right now. I'm beyond exhausted after the past couple of weeks and I just want to go home.
On the flip side, I'm getting close to finishing my latest down-here puzzle.
Dh stocked up on Chinese rechauffe for dinner.
What's on your menu?
This weekend will be spent getting the kitchen back in order. Ods is coming out to take me out for Mother's Day breakfast. I can eat part of a plain pancake, sometimes. Apart from that, dh will get back to work in our living room. The furniture has arrived at the warehouse and now he's in a time crunch.
What is everyone up to this weekend?
May it be a fun, enjoyable and lovely weekend for all!

Today is 15 years since my mom passed away and next weekend in my dad's COL. It has been a hard day today. And I feel all next week is going to be rough. No thoughts on dinner. I just want to "be". I am going to stop at Hobby Lobby at lunch since it close by to think about mom and all the crafting we used to do togeher. I am happy it is Friday, that is for sure. I will go shopping tomorrow to get flowers for the cemetery when we are there next weekend. I hope you can rest when you get home the the kitties start to like each other again. scrapmaven

My cleaner has been in this morning so my house is sparkling! She also found the earring back I lost on Sunday - I made it through the day with help of a glue dot! After she left, I headed to the PO to pick up a package I missed on Wednesday and then did some shopping so we can eat dinner.
Dinner is going to be salmon - I might send DH out to cook it on the grilled - with baby potatoes, white asparagus and hollandaise sauce.

We’re having grilled pork chops that I will brine first. I’m also making potato wedges in the air fryer and there will be salad and/or a vegetable.
I have spent some of my morning cleaning the main floor of my house. I’m having company for brunch on Sunday and am starting to get ready. DS and I are going grocery shopping as soon as I shower.
I’ve been thinking about my late husband a lot this morning. It was 11 years ago today that he fell from his brother’s roof and ended up so close to death. I’m so grateful that we got another 6 1/2 years together. I miss him so much.

Hugs to you, KelleeM. Savor the memories. I’m heading out for the day, so I guess dinner will be rechauffe. Or pizza. I say pizza a lot, but it rarely happens.

Hugs to scrappert and KelleeM on this hard day. I've got a very light day which is good because I didn't really sleep well last night. My brain power just isn't there today. Dinner tonight will be meatloaf. My parents are possibly coming over or I'll bring it to them depending on how they feel. Hope everyone has a good day!

Supper tonight is grilled chicken. I’m in the process of making potato salad. The potatoes are cooked and cooling in the fridge and the celery and onion is chopped. Im also having DH grill an extra chicken breast for me so I can have chicken souvlaki on the weekend.
Today is the Mothers Day Tea at grandboy #3 daycare centre. I’ll take him home after the tea so DS or DDIL don’t have to stop and pick him up.
I got a message from the cruise line today that I need to confirm our names so they can book our flights. It figures they didn’t use my full legal name in the documents so I need to call them before they book the tickets. I wonder how long I’ll be on hold for that!
Thinking of those remembering loved ones today.

My allergies are on overdrive. Walked the fluffball early today since it will be in the 80's again. My vegetable garden is so happy for the heat. So many of the seeds are sprouting and growing. I love seeing lettuce grow. We have to put a lot of beer traps around them and the bean plants. I may just make a chicken salad in a pita for dinner. I add red grapes, green onions, best foods light mayo, white balsamic vinegar, pepper and fresh thyme. scrappert and KelleeM ((HUGS))

Big hugs scrappert and KelleeM Today would have been my dad’s 86th birthday so I got cupcakes in his favorite flavors. His favorite donuts are 3 hours away so not today. Dinner is grilled kebabs with roasted steak fries and kale salad. I may have to bring my heater out on the patio. It’s in the 60s. I hope your tea was fun taylortroopHappy Friday! destined2bmom how’s your back?

We made it safely to the Bay Area and DH and DS will take me out for dinner tonight. Then we'll watch Amazing Race and go to bed early as we need to be at our friend's house by 7 to get our ride to SFO. Still need to rearrange some stuff in our suitcases to make everything fit. Ugh!
I'll check in when I can!
Hugs to all who need them! ❤️

Hugs to all of you that need it!
I had an all day meeting out of town. It was fun to get together with some of those that attended. Just got home and now it is raining. Glad it waited until I made it home.
Currently, we don't have any weekend plans. I'm kind of liking that idea right now.
Going to dinner with some friends tonight.

I worked this morning at my fav school ... getting grade 9's ready for final exams ... they are so DONE! I feel so sorry for the buggers! I'm working there again on Monday but with grade 8's and apparently they are not the angels that these 9's are ... not a problem ... I have definitely experienced worse! My mum and I went to the pub in my neighbourhood for dinner last night and I have rechauffee pizza to eat for dinner tonight. No plans for the evening ... I do need to watch the Survivor episode from Wednesday ... Hugs to those who really need it today!

scrappert , teddyw and KelleeM , you're all in my thoughts today. Wishing each one of you peace and comfort. We're home. We're home. I'll never travel w/2 cats, again. OMG, it was so loud. Very first world problem.
ETA: **GypsyGirl** , we got the stuff you recommended and dosed 'em before the drive home. One kitty was just mellow and zoned. Avatar kitty was meowing non-stop. He must have a good metabolism, cause he wasn't event remotely mellow. Still, it was worth it for the big guy.
cadoodlebug have a wonderful time and I hope that you'll be able to enjoy at least a little bit of pastry from Denmark.

Hi friends! Sending all of you love and hugs.
It's been a long week, so I'm glad it's Friday. We have nearly 7,000 folks registered for conference for work. Registration officially closes tonight, and we have about 330 folks who need to pay. I know some will pay on-site, some will call next week, and hopefully the rest will have their payment arrive next week. I am sure all will work out, but I always get anxious the week leading up to conference and for about the first 10 hours registration is open on-site. (We are available for 5 hours the afternoon/evening before sessions start, and then bright and early the day sessions begin so folks who need to can pay, and everyone can come and collect their name badges and ancillary materials.)
Still waiting to hear back on any news from my heart rate monitor. Tracking shows the phone that the device pinged to was returned earlier today, so perhaps I'll hear next week.
Dinner tonight was pork loin and green bean casserole. DH and I are planning on taking a drive tomorrow and doing some antiquing.
