I've been so tempted and really can use some new pans. These really tempt me. There are a couple of reviews here, but they are from a couple of years ago so I was wondering if anyone had any more thoughts on them? Thanks!

DH bought us a set as an anniversary gift last year. I absolutely love them. Nice to use, even heat and easy to clean.

I am loving mine! They are SO spendy, it is hard to commit. But I have been using mine close to a year. I cook 3 meals a day, so I use them frequently.
They are a hybrid type surface. So you do need to use some type of fat to make them non-stick. I have found that with eggs -it is best to warm the pan and give it a shot of PAM. Even if I use butter or other fats, they stick a bit. But if I give a light shot of Pam, then add any other fat for flavor, it works great.
They clean up so nicely. I am not one to put my pans in the dishwasher, but I have with these occasionally. Wow - they are so sparkly clean and no damage to surface.
I have mostly the frying pans, a wok and a nice 5 quart sauce pan with a handle. I do use some metal utensils, but I still prefer to use silicone or similar instead of metal.
I keep a paper plate between the pans when I stack in my cabinet.
I do wish they get rid of Gorden Ramsey. Everytime I see his picture I don't want to order any more. LOL

Get steel pans and season them well. Much better than hexclad and no coatings to come off in your food. They will last forever too!

Get steel pans and season them well. Much better than hexclad and no coatings to come off in your food. They will last forever too! If you go that route - get the "clad" ones. Where there is a thick bottom that is layers of metal bonded together. Heat them slowly, and they also retain heat, so you can turn off a burner and it will continue to cook for a time. It doesn't have to be the $$$ AllClad brand. I love the Tramontina brand that you can get at Walmart, and think they are a better pan than the AllClad and a lot less $$. If they are not clad, I find that pans warp. I have flat glass top stove, and wany warped pans do not work well. I have warped pans that are guaranteed not to warp. The only pans that have not are clad pans and the HexClad.

I have been tempted by Hexclad. But Tramontina is such an underrated brand. It's a great option.

I have exactly one Hexclad. My daughter-in-law was given one as a gift from my son and she loves it so much she determined that I was going to have one as well. They gave it to me for Christmas and I didn't use it for months. I thought I probably should put an insurance rider on it once I found out how much they cost . Anyway, I finally broke it in, and all I can say is I think they are wonderful!

I got both sets about 6 weeks ago from Costco. I made sure to season them as instructed. I have no regrets at all.

My Husband bought a set about 6 months ago and we love them. Definitely worth the price. He is extremely picky about only hand washing them though, so they have never been in the dishwasher.

I personally have reading nothing but bad reviews so I'm surprised to see so many positive here. I mean I'm glad everyone likes their pans, but here is what my research found because I was curious and considered buying them because they are everywhere in social media. Here is a pretty detailed review, it sums up everything I've read about them, including America's Test Kitchen who did not recommend them at all. therationalkitchen.com/hexclad-cookware-review/and if you google image "Hexclad pans coating coming off' you'll see lots of complaints. IDK for that price they should last more than a couple of years. Reddit is full of complaints. I think the part that turns me off is you shouldn't use high heat with these pans as it prevents you from getting a true good sear, and for that price they aren't non stick either. I decided to stick with my AllClad/cast iron and a nonstick pan for eggs.
