Good Morning.
I have to say that I'm so happy that last week is over. This week dh will be working on the living room and I'll be doing my norm. I have a project that I want to do. I need to go through my closet and move some things to a closet in one of the boy's bedrooms. However, those rooms are filled w/stuff from the living room. We'll see if I can get to a closet. If so, I have my own project this week. Though I can't wait to sit in my gorgeous living room.
The gas will be turned back on tonight. Gee, I couldn't cook dinner all weekend. Oh, poor me. Tonight will be panko pork in the AF or tacos. I'll see how I feel.
What's on your menu?
What is everyone up to this week?
Wishing everyone a happy, easy, calm and truly good week.

Good afternoon, It has been a lovely day here today so far, so I’ve been out for a walk, doing my grocery shop on the way. I didn’t need much, just some chicken for dinner tonight and some fresh vegetables, so easy to do on my walk. I don’t have a lot going on this week - a routine check up with my GP tomorrow and Friday I’ll be at after school care, filling in for a colleague who has to leave early for a wedding in Greece on the weekend. I a, also thinking of going into the city on Thursday to shop at the market.
Dinner tonight will be a grilled chicken breast, with asparagus and boiled potatoes.

Happy Monday!
it was a fairly relaxing weekend although the weather wasn't great. Good for the yard and my veggies though.
I've got a fairly easy week at work. Just some social media posting and that's always fun to do. My house looks like a bomb went off. My dog dumped out all of his toys from his basket and was playing with the basket last night so not there are toys everywhere. If only he could pick them up as much as he takes them out!
Dinner tonight will be chicken something. I've got a few recipes pinned so I'll see how I feel around dinnertime.
Hope you all have a great day!

I will be making steak tonight, maybe with fried potatoes. Not sure yet on the type of potato. And there will be salad too. I have to stop at the store to get said steaks and a few other items.

Tearisci, the kitties have a toy bucket. It's always fun to see what they bring out to play w/, but unlike kids, they don't have the ability to put their toys away. Silly doggie. Was it cute to watch him play w/the basket, at least? "We're not going out until you pick up your toys" doesn't apply to our furry friends. Last night we had a woodpecker who was going apebird on a tree behind us. I woke up to his antics this am. He's a very pretty bird and I have to respect his work ethic. I love my backyard.

Good Morning! The weekend was a little busier than I had anticipated. Went to a bunch of ball games. Had an impromptu pizza dinner with most of the grandkids and DD Saturday night. I planted all of my flowers yesterday. Glad to have that task completed. DH washed my Jeep and took me to get my favorite sundae. YDS came over for dinner. This week isn't terribly busy. I do have a meeting one night and our employee party is this week. Still working on thank you cards for that. Glad you are getting settled back in scrapmaven . Tearisci my house looks the same and I don't have any pets or kids at home to blame it on! Dinner will be pork loin.

Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a nice weekend and Mother's Day (if you celebrate). Today I get to play the waiting game. Waiting on the security company to come out and service the system and check the backup batteries before hurricane season is here. The window of service is 10 am-2 pm. Fortunately I have enough around the house to keep me busy while I wait. Once they come and go, I need to pick up DD's dog and run her to the pet sitter.
Also had the dryer vent cleaned this morning. He was 15 min. early though! Consider this a public service announcement. If it's been more than a year, you need to have your dryer vents cleaned out! Clogged vents are the leading cause of dryer fires. Be safe! I missed last year and the amount of lint they took out was embarrassing.
Dinner will be rechauffe from Mother's Day dinner that DD and DH prepared - crab cakes, veggies and plenty of cake.

I'm off for the next 3 days and had made plans on what I wanted to do. Main priority was to work on my closet. I wanted to reorganize it and get rid of things that we have not worn. However, we got a surprise visit from my aunt last night so not sure I'll have the time to work on it.
For dinner we are going out for dinner, aunt's choice.

DH and I went into the city this morning. I got a gift certificate for Mothers Day from ODS and I bought a new rainproof/windproof jacket. I need it specifically for my cruise and ODS wanted me to buy something for the cruise. So win, win. We also picked up a few groceries and stopped for fish and chips for lunch. Home now and it’s a gorgeous day. I’ll go for a walk, take Walker for a walk when it cools down and do some deck reading in between.
Supper will be night 3 of chicken souvlaki. I do love it and managed to stretch the chicken out as long as possible.

I forgot to tell you that I think I may have gotten scammed this morning. The last couple of days I have seen ads on Instagram for Balsam Hill Christmas Trees being on clearance. I clicked on the ad and it took me right to Balsam Hill website. I picked the tree I wanted, it was something like 80% off. Anywho, I purchased through Paypal (which I thought was different) it was a little shy of 80 bucks. I went to my Paypal account and it doesn't say I purchased from Balsam Hill, it's someone's name and they are in China! I went to the Balsam Hill website...looks just like the one I purchased from...except the tree that I bought was 399.00 on sale.

Oh no The Birdhouse Lady!! Can you stop the payment? I guess probably not since it was not your real PayPal account. I hope you can get it figured out. I know I am always afraid of that. I have been going directly to website when I see an ad like that.

Dinner will be rechauffe. There is more than I can eat before we head to the mountains tomorrow. I’ll be dropping off food at my sister’s house. karenlou , I’m sorry it’s eye injection day. Hope it’s easy and you feel better fast. The Birdhouse Lady , ohhhh noooo! Glad you’re staying on top of your accounts. But I bet they're just going to send you a cheap knock-off tree from China.

karenlou I'm so sorry you have to go through that every 6 weeks. It sounds so awful. One of my mum's friends has to get that done as well, and I always think "How does she do it?" But then I realise she (and you) really don't have much choice. Do they give you a valium or something like that to calm you beforehand? The Birdhouse Lady Noooo! Have you tried to cancel the order? Is there anything that PayPal can do for you? Scammers suck. I had to go into the office to work. My train station is still under construction, so I have been driving to a friend/colleague's house and going in with her. We decided to go out for an early dinner after work, to an Indian restaurant we went to about 15 years ago. I have been dreaming about their Malai Kofta ever since! My friend is vegetarian, so all of our dishes were vego. It was all so good.

Back in Jan, my mom got scammed. Because she used her debit card, tye credit union gave her a new account number

karenlou, gentle hugs and I wish you a good night's rest. The Birdhouse Lady, scammers should have to deal w/permanent wedgies and years and years in prison. I hope that you can get your money back.
