Looking for the good the bad and the ugly when it comes to taking Adipex for weight loss. I’m currently on weight watchers and in my younger years had great success but as I age weight loss is more of a struggle.

I have been taking it since beginning of the year. I’ve lost 31 pounds at my last dr visit. I have zero side effects except decreased appetite. I had taken it years ago with good results too. Just let my weight creep back up over the last10-12 yrs

I've used it a few times. I have to remind myself to eat and definitely drink more when I take it. You'll have tons of energy and not sit down much. It's great until you hit your maintainance month or stop taking it and no matter what my diet is I've always gained it back and my skin breaks out like crazy.

i took it years ago in conjunction with working out and diet. lost about 50#. had a lot of energy and a fun "rush" feeling. it's not recommended to stay on it long because it can cause heart issues. i was able to keep the weight off for about 2 years after i stopped, but eventually gained it all back and more becaused the diet and exercise habits needed to maintain it for me were unsustainable. gastric sleeve surgery later was what i needed. almost 6 years post-surgery now, and life is *wonderful*.

It didn’t do much for me, but my endocrinologist messed up and just stopped me. The withdrawal was horrifying. Mental breakdown, nightmares.

I fell into depression like I never have before. I had to stop after only a few weeks.
