Hi everyone! I have a few errands to run this morning and then my day is free! I'll first go to get gas because I am running on fumes!  Then I will pick up a few groceries ... I need to go to the AMA to pay my Jeep registration for this year and register my new personalized license plate ... I will show you a photo of it tomorrow once I have it on the vehicle!  This is what I posted on Facebook today ... I haven't watched the new Bridgerton episodes because I know I will fall asleep  . I have issues!   I'll pick something up at the store for dinner ... or I will see if my girlfriend wants to do takeout tonight  What are your plans today? What is on your menu tonight? Good morning leannec. That meme is so cute. Enjoy your today! I have another cold. So, I'll be resting. Dh is prepping the living room to paint this am. He did the wiring for the lighting yesterday. He's having fun w/his project. It's also spring planting time, so he's a busy guy. I might play my video game a bit, but I think I'm probably gonna nap instead. I have to make some labels on my cricut, but that sounds too complicated today. I need to work on my planner at some point. Dinner was going to be af fajitas, but we'll see how I feel. Have a really good weekend, everyone. |

That meme is totally me! I am about to go out also to run some errands and pick up the ingredients to make this delicious Corn & Tomato Pizza for dinner tonight. I made it several weeks ago & keep thinking about it, because it was so good! |

Happy Saturday!
I have no plans for dinner but as it's going to be 91 here today, I would imagine we'll end up in my sister's pool so we'll probably eat over there.
This morning, my grand nephew is being baptized and then we are getting together for a lunch. I need to go to the garden store again (without the paentals this time) and get a few cute pots and take back some trimmers I didn't need. I've also got to go to Total Wine and pick up my wine order as they aren't open on Sundays. I probably should start picking up my house too since my BFF is coming in for Labor Day weekend.
Lots to do and I'm not super motivated!

Good morning! I just realized I've logged almost 49,000 steps or 20 miles in the last 3 days. My body aches. Luckily tomorrow is a flight day between Copenhagen and Stockholm. So some down time. Last night we had dinner at an Italian restaurant that was awesome. Don't know where we are headed tonight but I better get dressed!

We are just chilling with a pre dinner drink.
We started the day with a big grocery shop, as we have to get through until Tuesday, because Monday is a public holiday. After lunch, we hit the hardware store to start organising our summer garden. We bought two planter boxes that we then spent the afternoon putting together, and lots of herb and vegetable seedlings. We’ll try and plant things out tomorrow and Monday, depending on the weather. The skies here have been getting darker since about 3pm, but the expected downpour has not yet happened.
Dinner tonight is steak and vegetables on the grill. Here’s hoping DH does not get soaked while cooking. I don’t think we’ll risk eating outside though!

DH and I just got back from a 21 km bike ride. We put the bikes in the garage and were walking in the driveway up to the house. DH stepped on a large rock, twisted his ankle and down he went! He’s fine now, no swelling or pain so he figures he dodged a bullet.
I’m going to enjoy this beautiful day on the deck with a book in my hand.
My colonoscopy has been booked for Wednesday. I know it’s going to be fine but hard to tell my anxiety that! I’m trying hard not ti think about it.
Supper will be grilled pork chops, potatoes and grilled asparagus.

Hi friends! Tomorrow, I ship out bright and early for conference. I am pleased that even though I'll be gone Sunday-Saturday (well, I land crack o dawn on Sunday), I only needed one bag. I refuse to pack a lot. Just need to add my laptop, hair brush, and anxiety that I've forgotten my driver's license even though it'll be in the wristlet on my person.
Dinner tonight will be steak and potatoes.

I refuse to pack a lot. Just need to add my laptop, hair brush, and anxiety that I've forgotten my driver's license even though it'll be in the wristlet on my person. Dinner tonight will be steak and potatoes. When we arrived in Norway, one of the guys on the trip realized he had left his phone on the plane. Took 2 days to track it down and get it back. So now everyone is asking him if he has his phone when he gets on the bus.🤣 Have a fabulous time at your conference! |

scrapmaven I typically have an indoor basil plant from Trader Joe's on my windowsill in the winter and early spring then I plant it outdoors and watch it grow huge. They are typically priced well and fairly large when you buy them. We need to head over to home depot. Our zucchini seeds didn't germinate so off to buy a plant. I have other things to do but had a lazier morning. It's been busy this week. Tonight we will make carne asada fajitas.

DSO still hasn't really got his appetite back after being sick. We had a crispy pork banh mi for lunch which was quite filling, and DSO said that he probably wouldn't want dinner. He'd been wanting to have pudding for a while now, but didn't have the appetite for dessert, so I suggested that we have it for dinner! And by pudding, I mean the delicious baked UK/NZ/Aus type of pudding. So here is our dinner - Butterscotch Pudding!  |

So after some pool time at my sisters, I decided to order in pizza and chill. First time in the pool this year and it was a little chilly but it was 92 degrees today and we had to take advantage!

so spent the day with my brother and sister in law (the one with cancer) and we went through the boxes of her old family pictures. she had labeled some pictures with her mom.. but had never looked at the box with the really old family pictures. we got started with sorting and labeling.. many are unknown.
went to the store.. now I am going to redo an old album of hers and go back tomorrow for another day at it. lots of old treasures and papers in there too.
dinner was some carrots, cheese and crackers. I might have some berries later. still by myself, so a snacky dinner.
