DH won air tickets through work with those areas as the parameter. I'm trying to see if they're including places like Costa Rica or Belize, but when they say Mexico and Caribbean, I'm thinking that definitely doesn't include central American areas.
We've been to Puerto Rico, USVI, BVI, St. Lucia and Aruba for the Caribbean. Favorite was St. John, least favorite was Aruba. DH has never been a Mexico fan, but I've been to Merida, Holbox Island and over the border into nearby border towns.

Turks and Caicos (leave your ammo at home lol) or Grand Cayman are both supposed to be really nice.
We have only been to St Lucia and we are leaving for Mexico in a few days. Im not super thrilled about Mexico, but it is for a wedding.

Barbados is beautiful as are Turks & Cacos, two places that you haven't been to.
My favourite is Holgiun, Cuba. Most beautiful beaches are in Cuba.

We did Coconut Bay in St Lucia last year, and Dreams Sapphire in Riviera Maya this year. Loved both!

It probably depends on what you are looking to do, explore or just sit on a beach.
Antigua was my favorite of a bunch of islands we visited briefly on a cruise. I really want to go back and stay to check it out more. I loved what we saw abd experienced when we were there.
If you like non resort type places, I loved Andros in the Bahamas, but we stayed in relativeโs rental house and did have a car. Really not touristy and there were no resorts where we were. Big for bone fish fishing, snorkeling, etc.
Good luck. I hope you get some good recommendations and find some place cool to visit.

My son has been every where. Grand Cayman is his favorite.

Grand Cayman. Beautiful water and beaches, very safe. We never repeat vacation locations but love GC so much we have been a few times. Jamaica was ok but didnโt feel very safe when we went. We donโt currently travel to Mexico.

We spent a few days at an all-inclusive just south of Puerto Vallarta and had a great time. The city is very charming and we loved the resort. Our stretch of beach was beautiful. That area is not considered to be unsafe. I would happily go back next winter. Weโve vacationed in Los Cabos too. It was great.

We did Coconut Bay in St Lucia last year, and Dreams Sapphire in Riviera Maya this year. Loved both! Since we seem to be following each other, where are we going next year? ๐๐ We leave for our Mexico trip Saturday. Im super anxious because I didnt choose the resort after hours of exhaustive research (we are going for a wedding), but I know it will be fine (not the place where you stayed, which would have been more in line with what I would have chosen!)

There were a couple weddings during our stay and the people who were there for those weddings were so happy to be there and had a great time. It probably feels weird letting someone else make your travel plans, but it will be just fine.

We just got back from a cruise to Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao. Bonaire was our favorite by far. Gorgeous water, fabulous snorkeling.

Just returned from TCI for the 2nd time, and we are planning to return in the fall. We love it that much. Also nice are Anguilla and Nevis. Would definitely skip Jamaica

I really like Turks & Caicos, which I mentioned on another thread, it'll be our third trip there soon. I also liked Dominican Republic, staying in Punta Cana - it's a total bubble, so if you like a more authentic experience, it won't be a good fit, but if you like good food and pretty beaches it's quite nice. Anguilla is on our next list as we've heard great things about it. Have fun!
