It's on at the same time as The Great British Sewing Bee! I know which I will watch. I don't expect Sunak OR Starmer to come up with anything particularly scintillating tbh. I'll make do with the shortened version on the news.

Sewing bee for me too.
The budget for canvassing must be down, have just had two leaflets, one from each of the main parties. Answered a knock on the door the other day, wondered which party it might be, turned out to be Jehovah's witnesses.

We're deep in traditionally Tory country but the only thing we've had through the door is for Lib Dems and they're the only boards I've seen around in people's front gardens too.

I expect the street lights will be covered in posters when I next head to town but canvassing is pretty much a non event. In 30 years in this house we've only had one political canvasser at the door and that was for the independence vote. And ssshhhh . . . no leaflets yet.
