He is the Michigan school shooter, who parents are horrible parents and most of the (if not all) reason he went on a shooting spree. I am so glad they are in prison now. Anyway, his parents are refusing to help him appeal his sentence. I am not saying Ethan is blameless, but his parents did absolutely nothing to help their son when he was having a mental crisis. They were too busy living their own lives. link

As awful as his crimes were, his parents are at fault, the cause.

That may be a good thing that they won't help him.
He is young and this is just sad.

I’m not surprised. He wouldn’t testify in their trials so I’m sure they won’t do anything at all to help their son!

Pretty sure his parents also made him use a public defender because they didn't want to pay for his attorney in the first place... they're absolute trash.

I know he was the one who did it and killed people and yes, that definitely means he needs to be punished. But damn, his parents raised him (or not) and I'm so glad they have to pay. They did nothing to help their child and abandoned him. I feel for him despite his actions.
