Good morning.
How is it Friday already? This week flew by. Yds will be home tonight. I cannot wait to see him. I am making chicken mozzarella pasta, garlic bread and a salad. He loves that meal.
What's on your menu?
What is everyone up to this weekend? W/the whole family home I'll be in my glory. We're gonna do our family escape room on Sunday and we'll either go out to lunch or dinner.

We have a graduation party to head to tonight. 1 of 6 graduates, all relatives of SO. 4 of the others are having a combined party of 2, and then 1 other single party.
Dinner will be whatever is there to eat!
The plan is to work on the bathroom and make great headway on that. Since this is the first weekend there is really nothing going on. DD will be with her sister and grandparents, so it will be just SO and I. Fingers crossed all goes well.
We are supposed to get storms today and this evening, Saturday is supposed to be the best day, and then the rest of the weekend is hit and miss showers.

Today started with a phone call from DS1 and the girls for my birthday. Both were in a silly mood, but they managed to sing for me. Then, I met with a friend and we took the train to a village half an hour away, where there is a lovely yarn store. Their annual sale started today and we both picked up a few bargains.
Tonight, DH and I are out for dinner. We love this restaurant - it is called Spice Bazaar and does delicious upscale Middle Eastern food.
Not much planned for the weekend. The weather here is crazy this week - sunny one minute and stormy the next, so it’s difficult to plan too much ahead.

Happy Friday!
It's a very slow day at work and I'm pretty much done for the day. My boss and co-worker are out today so I'm covering for them but with the long weekend, I have a feeling it will be slow for everyone today.
I'm counting down the hours until my BFF arrives at 9:45 tonight which makes for a lonnnng day. We've got the chance of thunderstorms tonight so I hope that doesn't delay her flight. I'm not a night person and don't like driving at night even though I'm only about 12-15 minutes from the airport.
Dinner tonight will be stew and my parents will be coming over. I wanted to make something that I would have enough of because I'm sure BFF will be hungry when she gets off of her flight.
I probably won't be around much this weekend. We've got some fun meals planned including a French souffle place for lunch tomorrow. The rest of the time will revolve around the pool.

Yay for the weekend!
We are supposed to get storms tonight as well. Tomorrow looks to be gorgeous then the rest of the weekend will stormy. It does not look promising for the Indy 500.
There is an annual art fair tomorrow that I hope to get up early enough to get to. It gets so crowded. After that, DH and I are headed to Indy for ODGS soccer tournament. In between his games I want to hit up my favorite nursery and see if the have anything left.
The rest of the weekend we are just playing by ear because of the weather forecast.
Dinner will be meatloaf.

We probably won't see the Northern Lights as we're a tad late. I have some hilarious pics to share of me getting almost blown away. One of our guys grabbed me and saved me.

Happy Friday! I don't think I've ever been so happy to see a week be over and done with. Definitely been one for the books. About to head out and see if I can get a mani/pedi, then make a Costco and Central Market run. The heat is unbearable today so after all that I plan to come home and curl up with some lemonade and needlepoint! Hopefully after a quiet 3 day weekend I will have the energy to jump back in here more regularly! Happy Birthday sueg! From the port, just a bit of itchiness as it heals. From the biopsy spot on him arm, nothing to speak of. Today's Keytruda treatment went very well and so far he feels fine. He will be doing those treatments every 3 weeks. They also gave him the Linvima capsules and will start those tomorrow. Hopefully this is all signs of a fairly easy journey. Thanks for asking! |

Happy Birthday sueg ! Went out early to go have breakfast and run some errands before it got hotter later in the day. Working on my planner now and might do some coloring later on tonight after dinner. It's hubby's birthday today so dinner will be his choice of restaurant. |

I am off work today ... yay! Retirement rocks!  I had an appointment this morning and now I am waiting for a girl to come and pick up some shoes she is buying from me from FB Marketplace ... Then I need to straighten up my kitchen ... blech! I'm not sure what dinner will be ... my girlfriend is coming over so we will discuss it!  Happy happy birthday sueg!  |

Happy birthday sueg! My bestie and I went biking this morning and rode 20 km on some cool trails and along the waterfront. We stopped at a food truck and had pulled pork fries for lunch. So tasty! Supper will be cleaning out the fridge. Looks like sausage in a bun and a burger for DH and I’ll have a chicken burger. No big plans for the weekend. |

happy day to all!!!
got up early, took the ferry, went to sister in law's house to work on her photos, then to the thrift donation site, then sister's house (dropped off newer vacuum, took two old ones), then hit the ferry again.. only waited an hour!!
dh had been to the store and got a fresh piece of sockeye salmon. I stopped by store and got veggies and salad. so I will make cesar salad with dungeness crab--strawberries for dessert.
a pouring rain day.. but no problem.
