Are you a Bluey fan?? I never watched it until I was at my daughter's house and she turned it on for my grandson to watch. It's hilarious. Well apparently this episode has been banned in the US.. so I looked it up on YT and watched it. I didn't find anything wrong with it. I laughed my butt off. Maybe the mom hitting the dad a little wasn't the best, but it wasn't anything bad. More like swatting him. Anyways, the show is very short.... but I thought I would share.. My son is 20yo so I have NO business watching Bluey but I've watched it. Mostly b/c of hearing that some of the humor caters to adults. I'm a Bluey fan

We happened to see an episode while we were staying in a hotel, and it absolutely stuck for all of us. - adults, teen, and children. We mark the calendar when there's a new season on Disney+ and speak in Bluey references... When I heard there was a "banned" episode, I absolutely looked it up and we all watched. Super bummed it's not in the rotation when we stream though.

I've never seen an episode. I'm disappointed that it wasn't on when my kids were little, so I would have had an excuse to watch it! DSO said just the other day that he wants to watch it, to see what the hoopla is about.
I wasn't able to watch the video, it's not available in my country. I'm sure I'll be able to find that episode on the ABC here.

As I thought, ABC (free-to-air channel) has every episode on demand. I assume it's the episode called 'Dad Baby', where Bandit pretends to be pregnant with Bingo? I just watched it, and it's hilarious! I guess I can see why some conservative Americans, and probably some stick-up-the-arse Australians, might want it banned. Thankfully it wasn't banned here. I would have loved to have watched this with my kids when they were little. We were (are) definitely not a conservative household!

Haha I just can’t imagine, but then again, I don’t understand a lot of US conservative Christian beliefs. I mean, they weren’t showing a pregnant man, but a dad acting out a funny story for his kids. I love Bluey. I was introduced to the show a few years back when older DGD was little and now I ask her to show me the new episodes each time I visit. I even sought out a recent longer episode (when the family were selling their house to move) from here, because I heard it was going to be on when I visited DS and family, but wasn’t in Australia when it aired. |

Having a 2.5 year old granddaughter means we watch a lot of Bluey. It’s such a great show. One of my faves is Tradies 😊
