I am wanting to get a machine to help with cleaning upholstery - mainly for just quick touchups on our white couch. Won't have to work on carpet since we dont have carpet.
Anyone have any recommendations?

My Hoover carpet cleaner/shampoo machine has an attachment that does the upholstery. It is a Hoover/Steam Vac. It actually does not steam as the hot water is in a chamber and does not comeout as steam (I was a little bummed about that.)

A Spot Bot might work well for that. We had one when our kid was little and it worked pretty well plus it had an upholstery attachment. It was nice because it didn’t take up a ton of room to store between uses.

We aren't filthy people and my kids are grown, but every now and then I can see that I'd want to freshen up the arms of the couch and chair.

Definitely use the little upholstery attachment though because with the one we had that you would set over the spot the brushes would run in a circular pattern and it would be much harsher on fabric than it is on carpet.

Bissel Little Green Machine. We have white chairs (what was I thinking with a pre school aged kid?) and it works amazing. I will add that if I have to spot clean a cushion I end up cleaning the entire thing because you can tell which area of the cushion is cleaner because it does such a good job of cleaning.

I second the Little Green Machine. We owned a motel for many years and used it to spot clean and freshen up upholstered chairs in the rooms. Without grossing everyone out and not sharing TMI, it worked great on mattresses, too, for the occasional spots and stains. Great little machine.
