Excellent bones on that one and right in the part of Omaha I'd live in if we ever moved back there (ETA: maybe not - it's further south than I realized). Needs some updating.

I would redo bathrooms, kitchen, wall coverings, basement.. but really beautiful Agreed, but all the fixtures are historic. The only thing missing that I grew up with was an electrified true ice box! In fact, it was in full use when it moved with us in 1952 when we got a new one. It was still in use through the 50s as an extra in the basement.....

That home is beautiful. While I would change somethings up, it has a great foundation to build upon.

Yes please! If I were a few (OK a lot) years younger I would be ready to move in. That house would be much more here.

I love it! But a few things would need to be updated, starting with the kitchen. I appreciate its vintage charm but all that stuff is going in the basement and I'm upgrading the kitchen. Maybe I'd make a historically correct kitchen in the basement for fun.
I'm upgrading some of the bathrooms too, and some of the wallpaper. Some can stay. The wood is beautiful.

That kitchen needs some reconfiguration, but I LOVE how it looks too. There's way too much busy wallpaper on the first floor for me.

It's beautiful. I can only see this as a museum; I can't really imagine living there.

Oh my gosh...I want to find the people who have taken such lovely care of this house and thank them profusely. The kitchen, butler's pantry, and bathrooms in particular are amazing.

This is the house of my dreams. I would change nothing. I'm with you. That back yard. WOW. Wow wow wow. I even like the kitchen. It reminds me of the kitchens Nicole Curtis does in her restorations. All the pattern is a bit much but I think unless it was modern and not original, I would leave it all.

Yeah I agree on that green bathroom.. that one seems icky. Otherwise I LOVE it. I love that the vintage stuff is in the kitchen but I would want some modern appliances. I would try to refigure it out to make the best of both worlds.
That backyard is stunning.

I would try to refigure it out to make the best of both worlds. That backyard is stunning. I would love to know how that stove works, but it looks like there is a huge fridge in one of the pantries. I would also like a more modern kitchen, but done so it suits the style.

Wow, that is beautiful, and very well kept/restored. I'll have to drive by it when I'm in Omaha on Thursday! TFS!

I thoroughly enjoyed this one!! The outside got me from the first picture!! So much to love about this house! My favorites were the lead glass windows, the cast iron sinks, the quarter sawn oak details, and the backyard!! Swoon!

Wow - talk about period features! With very few exceptions, that house could be used in a movie set in the early 1900's. They would only have to remove the flat screen TVs, the box of tissues on the bathroom window ledge and the blue plastic waste basket in one of the other bathrooms. Oh, and the kickass outdoor kitchen with the awesome barbeque!
