She's the one who passed on my Dad's birthday in 2022. We finally had a memorial for her yesterday. Her son/my cousin Jason and my Mom both had a very hard time. Aunt Kathy was the baby. Her ashes were buried with my Grandmother, like Aunt Kathy said she had wanted. Mine and Jason's aunt from WA was finally able to make it, which was good. We did have an aunt and other uncle would couldn't make it due to health. Thankful Jason's wife took photos of everyone. I love this photo my cousin in law took yesterday at my aunt's memorial. This is my favorite. My Dad, Aunt from WA, cousin. http://instagram.com/p/C7exWFuub51

I’m glad you were able to get together with some of your family members to remember your aunt. May your memories of her be a blessing to you all.

It sounds like the kind of memorial she would have wanted. I’m glad all went well.

It sounds like the service not only gave you some closure but also provided a good opportunity for family to reconnect.
