We moved in here eight years ago and my craft room shares space with a small kitchenette. It was painted taupe and eggplant by the last owner, and I have always hated it. Unfortunately, we had a leak in a freeze this winter in that room; on the bright side, insurance covers the repairs, and that includes repainting.
The room is on the ground level of the house, kind of the basement level, but it has windows and a windowed door, so it gets light but isn’t flooded with it. Paint color suggestions? If it matters, the kitchenette cabinets are light wood (not sure what — kind of a golden light brown) as is the table.

I used to have a light Tiffany blue type color in my craft room, and I found it to be calming and beautiful, I didn't realize how strongly it affected my perception of light and color when I was crafting. Now, I have Simply White by Benjamin Moore along with soft white daylight light bulbs in all of my lighting. I feel that it provides me with a much more realistic impression of color. My projects on display and my supplies provide lots of pops of color and visual interest.
All that to say, I recommend a neutral white for a craft room, but I also strongly believe that you should make the decision that is right for you. Please post a pic once it's all done. I would love to see your space.

I would go with a pale blush, barely any tint. But, I love pink!

My craft room is painted with Sea Salt by Sherwin Williams. It's a pale green/blue/grey that changes with the light. I like it against the medium wood furniture, white trim, and light beige carpet. All my accessories and fabrics are bright and bold, the soft color is a nice backdrop.
Lots of reviews about the color online if you're interested.

When we built my new crafting cottage last year, my #1 requirement was that the walls would be white. I can add color with the things I put in my room. I LOVE my white walls.

Two walls are a soft white and two are a pale silvery gray.

Not right now you wouldn’t! It is a horror pit with holes in the wall while we wait on the contractors. But I’ll get pics up when it is back in action.

My scrapbook room is a cream-y white and I added color with art and storage. I have had a Tiffany Blue scrapbook room and I got so tired of it so soon. And it colored everything with a blue tint.

I’m not a fan of white so my studio is SW Quietude, a soft neutral green. My husband chose SW Soar, a soft blue for his space ((he works with photography). We both have windows & use daylight lighting at night. Whatever you choose enjoy a freshly painted space!

I painted my room my happy color, purple, and have never regretted that. My organization style is hidden, I do not like for my supplies to be part of the decoration so everything is in drawers or baskets save for the acrylic paint holders on the wall. I haven’t noticed any issues with color, but I’m not an artist and wouldn’t necessarily notice anyway. My color choices look good in different lighting so I have to assume the OTT light on my desk works well. Because the other lighting in my room is horrible.

Mine is a very light yellow/white called Butter. I love that it keeps the room light.

To go with the golden brown wood, I think BM Mayonnaise would be beautiful. It’s what I have in my kitchen and living room. Actually, I think mine is 75% or so. I prefer very light colors.
