How would you create it?
Have you wondered how our current one got created? Would you do it the same way? What about the one before it, and the one before that? What would you base it on? Would you still use 12 months? 24 hour days?
See what comes up for you on this today

Isn’t our current calendar based on the cycle of the moon and the earth? So you couldn’t really change the 24 hour day since that is the rotation of the earth. I guess you change the units within the 24 hours, maybe make an “hour” two hours long so we would have 12 hour/days instead of 24.
Same for the month. A lunar cycle is about 29-30 days long, so I guess we could change the months to match the lunar cycle better. But that leaves a few days left off since it takes 365 days for the earth to travel around the sun.
In other words, I wouldn’t change anything, except to stop changing the clocks twice a year. 😆
ETA - Interested to read what the OP has to say about this.

I can't even conceive of trying. Definitely not what I was born to do.
If all humanity was like me, we would at best have seasons and days, but there is no way we'd have a calendar all sorted out.
Or math beyond simple counting, or tools beyond rocks and sticks, and probably not fire. Maybe wheels. Definitely language and tame animals (though I doubt we'd be riding horses or milking cows) and cultivated plants and cave drawings and sculpture.
No woven textiles, just skins and leaves and vines. Probably moccasins and hats and things.
