Finally got my elderly Mom to cut the cord. She is using Hulu for General Hospital and The View. She is saying that full episodes are not streaming. Anyone else experience this? They do state about 30+ minutes per episode, but she said commercials cut in and she misses parts of the episodes.

I have Hulu No Ads and don’t have this issue. I just looked and GH for today is listed as 36 minutes and The View as 35, 36, and 37 minutes for the 5 listed. Maybe they are just shorter than the expected hour without all of the network commercials?

I have regular Hulu with ads. The episode is a little less than 40 minutes plus the commercials that Hulu ads if you have ads on your subscription. I just checked yesterday's episode and it is 36 minutes including intro and credits with 6 commercial breaks so the scenes are super short. That is just the way it is whether you watch it live or on-line.
I watch General Hospital on Hulu and don't lose anything if I choose to watch the whole thing. These days the writing is so bad, I use that little 10 second ff a lot! I skipped Tuesday's altogether. @generalhospital on Twitter shows a preview each day of what they are showing and from that I decide if I want to watch.

I haven't had that happen on Hulu, but on Prime, I had to cut off auto play because I was watching a show with scenes up to the last second, and it did cut them off. Might be worth a try.
