I was interested in the post where the person was looking for the Studio Calico Ireland stamp and went to the Studio Calico website. Wow-first, holy heck are they expensive. Thirty dollars for one stamp set, with no dies? Then I thought, well maybe they are not for cardmaking so much. Are they more for scrapbooking? And then I started seeing they were almost all sold out. So they have to be selling well. What am I missing here? Some of the designs are cute, but is Studio Calico for a specific type of paper crafting where stamps are utilized more, like pocket pages? Do they restock often? There is one set that I was interested in, but of course it was sold out. Enable me!

I mean, there is a 996 page thread about SC. ^.^
They started out as all scrapbooking, then when PL became "a thing" they added that to their repertoire along with card making. Their kits used to be *chef's kiss*. They sank their own ship though and stabbed a bunch of their loyal customers in the back. They continue to do it when they can, especially since putting everyone under the "Inked" umbrella. Their prices and quality are just one of the ways they do that.
If you're dead set on the stamp, you can get an AE knockoff for a fraction of the price OR just wait on one of SC's big sales. I do not think there's a rhyme or reason to restocks, but SB.com carries some of their stuff, so you could also check there.

Their stamps are all (mostly? I think recently there were some kit stamps that were acrylic) photopolymer which are a good quality, vs Ali Express which are acrylic.
They recently had a 50% off 1 hr sale. That's the only time I buy. But yes having to scroll through all the sold out stamps is super annoying. I wish they just put them at the bottom if they want to keep it on the website. Definitely geared to scrapbookers over card makers.
