Oh Tommy Tuberville what were you thinking...?? He who never served held up all the military promotions not too long ago. He is now bragging about the $$$ headed to Alabama that he voted AGAINST!! They caught you!! Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) took to X on Friday to triumphantly announce the securement of $550 million to upgrade a bridge on I-10 from Mobile to Baldwin County — one of the largest federal grants ever given to an infrastructure project in Alabama. "Proud to announce that the Mobile River Bridge and Bayway Project will be receiving a $550 million grant from the Department of Transportation," wrote Tuberville. "This is a HUGE WIN for Mobile, the state of Alabama, and the entire Southeast region." That Florida Man needs to go home and stay, unfortunately we're stuck with him a while longer. /gag

Cowards all!! Run away.. another run away from his own ideas... The more Americans learn about the Heritage Foundation's authoritarian Project 2025 initiative, the more they dislike it. That may be why both former President Donald Trump and groups allied with him are now trying to keep it at arm's length. According to ABC News, America First Legal — which is led by Trump's top immigration adviser, Stephen Miller — has reached out to Project 2025 and asked to be removed from its list of advisory board members. The network reported that the group was listed among the other groups collaborating with Heritage on Project 2025 as recently as Thursday. "I have zero involvement with Project 2025. Zero. None. I made an advice video a long while back for students. I have no involvement with the project whatsoever," Miller told ABC.www.rawstory.com/stephen-miller-distances-project-2025/

Cowards. I despise all of the Republicans that contributed to project 2025 but they could at least have the courage to stand up for what they wrote and believe.

Considering this is trump I’m not surprised… Seth MacFarland… ”Medical emergencies left and right at the Trump rally here in Butler County, PA. They’ve offered no shaded areas in audience .. and the small pallets of bottled water aren’t sufficient Several calls of “medic, medic, medic” amid crowd We’re here for @cbseveningnews” Aaron Rupar…. “You would think in light of these conditions that Trump might consider beginning his speech on time. But he's 10 minutes late and counting.” x.com/atrupar/status/1812233090711863697?s=61&t=j45uMgNk1i8O0YllKF58nw

Little nugget from discussion of 2025
Adding 'universal savings accounts'
Although retirement isn't a primary focus for Project 2025, the plan calls for "universal savings accounts," or USAs, with a yearly after-tax contribution limit of $15,000, indexed for inflation.

They also want to kill the FDIC. Seems totally legit.

I was just on iTunes and there's already a fucking song called "You Missed" with TFG's photo as the album cover. Of course it's terrible and inflammatory so I expect it'll be the new campaign song.

MTG... Projection. Very dangerous projection!! Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) claimed Tuesday that Democrats would murder Republicans "in the streets" if President Joe Biden was shot. *** Greene claimed Democrats did not want unity following the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump. "Then they have spent the past eight years vilifying us, demonizing us," Greene said. "Hillary Clinton labeled us as deplorables," she ranted. "They called President Trump Hitler. They called all of us Nazis. They called all of us fascist, called us a threat to democracy. President Trump is going to destroy democracy. He's going to become a dictator." *** "We're not unifying with that. There is no unity with that." *** "You people would have been out in the streets burning down cities like you did the entire summer of 2020, looting stores, destroying businesses, attacking police officers, absolutely attacking federal courthouses," the lawmaker insisted. "You would be fighting us, murdering us in the streets if that had happened, but that didn't happen, did it, Natalie?" www.rawstory.com/marjorie-taylor-greene-biden-2668757631/

Limiting AFTER tax savings? What is the point? I don’t understand? ( not that I have a spare 15 k a year to add to any account ) But usually they, the IRS, or Congress via the IRS, limits PRE TAX contributions what would be the point in limiting after tax contributions, that’s already been taxed there’s no benefit to limiting where people save money they’ve paid tax on already. 🤔

The RFKJr phone call.. In that video, Donald Trump can be heard telling Kennedy, "I would love you to do stuff and I think it'd be so good for your and so big for you. And we're gonna win. We're way ahead of the guy." It was not clear in what context Trump meant "do stuff," although he could have possibly meant endorse Trump, or hand Kennedy a post in his administration. There had been some speculation, including in the betting markets, Trump would make RFK Jr. his running mate. Deadline reported Trump "sounded like he was wooing [Kennedy] for his support." "Leaked video of a phone call between the two exposes just how aligned they are," The New Republic reported. In his remarks about vaccines, about which RFK Jr. has "spent years stoking fear and mistrust," and left a "trail of false and misleading claims," Trump shared some of his own false theories. "When you when you feed a baby a vaccination that is like 38 different vaccines, and it looks like it's meant for a horse not a, you know 10-pound or 20-pound baby," Trump said. "It looks like you're giving you should be giving a horse this and did you ever see the size of it right? You know, it's this massive – And then you see the baby all of a sudden starting to change radically. I've seen it too many times. And then you hear that it doesn't have an impact, right? But you and I talked about that a long time ago. And anyway, I would be, I would love you to do stuff and I think it'd be so good for your and so big for you. And we're gonna win. We're way ahead of the guy." www.rawstory.com/mortified-rfk-jr-apologizes-for-leaked-video-of-trump-spinning-vaccine-conspiracies/

"Yale Law School should be embarrassed,” book critic Michiko Kakutani, who graduated Yale Law in 1976, told The Daily Beast. “It's now given us J.D. Vance, Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas, Brett Kavanaugh, John Yoo, and Alan Dershowitz.”

I guess the idiot doesn’t understand … The Recount ”House Speaker Mike Johnson: "See, we understand that our rights do not come from government. They come from This… “ Yes, the First Amendment of the United States Constitution protects the right to not practice a religion, also known as freedom from religion. The First Amendment's Religion Clauses protect the beliefs of all people, including those who are atheists or who don't identify with a religion. The First Amendment also prohibits the government from favoring one religion over another or expressing a preference for religion over irreligion.”x.com/therecount/status/1813371759166390645?s=61&t=j45uMgNk1i8O0YllKF58nwThe way I see if this guy wants to live his life according to whatever beliefs/god that’s his choice. But under no circumstance does he get to force his beliefs on me or anyone else.

Hypocrisy at it's best.... By...Sen. Cruz and Sen John Boozman (R-AR), Sen R Scott think democratic convicted felons 'gotta go' but, Republican convicted felons can be president!! I agree with [Senate Majority Leader] Chuck Schumer that Menendez should resign,” Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) told Raw Story from the Fiserv Forum, where the Republican National Convention is being conducted. “And I’ve stayed quiet on this case up until this point, but now that the jury has returned a verdict — a jury of his peers have found him guilty of blatant bribery. The facts are appalling and I think Chuck Schumer is right that it’s time for him to resign.”*** Menendez has “gotta leave,” Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) told Raw Story after addressing delegates at the Republican National Convention Tuesday. *** On the convention floor, the cheerful, celebratory mood of Republicans changed whenever Menedez was mentioned. “At this point he’s a convicted felon,” Sen. John Boozman (R-AR) told Raw Story. “My message has been, let’s wait and see what happens, which I think is perfectly right. And now that he’s been convicted, I think he should go.”www.rawstory.com/jared-kushner-bob-menendez-corruption/
