We are having heavy rain...has been raining about 30 minutes and app says it will continue for about 20 minutes more. Wind with it.
300 homes in my community are still without power from last Tuesday. Luckily we have power.
I think all the trees that have/had weak limbs are already down.

Ugh. I am sorry. We were in the DFW area from Fri-earlier today and hope we would miss out on the rain but no such luck. Then it rained all the way home and is raining here now.

I’m so sorry. I don’t know what’s going on with this weather but we can’t shake it here in Central Texas either. I've lost count of how many severe weather warnings we’ve been under since the tornado on May 22nd. We still have people without power and internet. Cleanup is coming along but every house has huge piles of limbs and brush in front of it. It will take months for them to pick them up. We've started the dealings with the insurance companies. Our house is fine but we have quite a bit of damage. I’m so thankful it wasn’t worse for us and so heartbroken for the people who did lose everything. For those hardest hit areas, their piles out front of their houses is what’s left of their belongings. It will be a long, long time before things are back to normal around here.
Stay safe, DFW Peas!
