Happy summer Peas! Oops! I almost forgot posting this here. Busy weekend and getting ready to leave for Hungary too. I love traveling, but hate packing. I always have a hard time deciding what to bring with me. Are you planning any fun vacation this summer? This sketch a very easy one and its perfect to use up those 6×6 paperpads. Video with printable link youtu.be/hR9IofdKvpk?si=INCevtnKk1c9IOtBProcess video youtu.be/mnco-o26uF4?si=Rz4QJ9pI5sDwKhOuFor the extra 10 points make a little change on the sketch...have a different shape for the sentiment strip or don't use a layer or add an extra mat. Its up to you! Have fun and can't wait your creations. Tagging grammadee.

Here's my set: My little change was using an embossing folder (since I had them all out anyway) on the mat layer.

I really love the embossed mat and love your pp. They work so perfectly together. Beautiful set of cards Shakti.

Here’s mine. I was going to do the whole set in blue but it didn’t go with my characters, so I did one in blue and then used the B sides which were more Christmas coloured and swapped out the cardstock.

This is going to sound a little silly given that I only posted my set a week ago. But seeing new sets reminded me how much I liked this sketch and that those last papers from the pad I. Trying to use up might work well with the cover die from the C&9 sale….

Very cute cards justjac I like how you added the sentiment on the left side of the (adorable!) characters. I will try that if I do another set.

I adapted the sketch to repurpose a peony card that was a weird size, about 8.5"x3.25" - big enough to make 2 cards. I used 4 strips instead of 3 in the panel and left the height of the original card as it was so I could enjoy as much as possible of the image. I found some coordinating papers in pale tones and moved the strip up a bit. I secretly cut it into 1.5" pieces since most wouldn't be showing and I wanted to highlight a specific part of the pale pink lace pattern. I don't think I'll add a sentiment for now but I thought these could work for sympathy or a basic thinking of you card. June share by jo.blackford, on Flickr

Gorgeous!
I recently noticed on Pinterest someone using this sketch with all the same PP! I know what to do with that last paper I like from that pad I was using up! Next week when another item arrives....

I hardly even noticed that it was just one patterned paper Shakti - very nice Is the background the new die you mentioned? Love the color combo.

Thanks! Yes, that’s the C&9 Stitched Leaves background die. The 3” square that vanished a week ago was one of these; the butterflies were the back of something that I didn’t end up using as originally intended.

I made 24 cards using a 24 sheet paper pad, with patterned paper for the background piece (I cut a 1/4" off the side and cut in half at 3" then I could cut that to stretch to 4" behind the strip, or sometimes I could use the offcut 1/4" depending on directionality). I stretched the strip all the way to the edge for easier gluing and cutting and fudged the measurements of everything here and there. Several items from the two round robin swaps This grungy paper really isn't my style but I was happy to use it all up in one go.

I liked all of your cards so much I wanted to make my first SLOC for awhile. After I glued the 1" strips down I didn't like the pink behind it but kept going anyway.
