I like being able to plan by looking through the catalog and checking what I already have before the sale actually starts… In theory I can make good decisions! Sale preview catalog

Thank goodness for WFH two monitors. I have looked over the whole catalog and compared to the website and have made my list, but now have to cut it down and/or decide what I really want. I'm going to try to be good and buy only 3 things max.

Last year I bought three or maybe four things. I used one almost immediately (but not since), one I haven't used but am still excited to try when I get the infamous Round Toit, and one of which I now know was most likely a total boondoggle. And if there really was a fourth, I don't even remember what is was, so that's not a good sign EtA: Actually, the things I LIKE I bought last July with my Summer Camp discount. The ONLY thing I bought last June in the warehouse sale was the boondoggle....

Oh now my list is longer than it was with just the summer camp discount code. I really want the citrus crush bundle and turnabout stamp which are not on sale so the accountant in me is going to price everything out and see if waiting makes more sense.
It is a bummer that this sale is before our discount code works on 7/9/24 because there may be a lot of things sold out by then.

I’ve got 4 bundles in my wish list and an alpha die set. A couple are 50 and 70 off so I think I’m going to have to be awfully quick checking out! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

I’ve got 4 bundles in my wish list and an alpha die set. A couple are 50 and 70 off so I think I’m going to have to be awfully quick checking out! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 There are some items I got during previous sales that are still available in this sale, so you might be OK. In fact there are some things I swear I got 2 or 3 years ago during a sale that are still there. What's on your list? PSA: If anyone is looking at the Good Vibes turnabout stamp, I'm pretty sure it's faulty. It's not the same size as the guide sheet so it overlaps in places it shouldn't. I've studied it every time I've used it and I'm pretty sure it's a production error. It does have some nice sentiments though, which is what I bought it for (in the last sale). Hidden gems?: The Painted Sayings stamp set on p.37 is 70% off - it's got some great, very bold encouragement sentiments that I like for Cards for Cubs. I didn't bother getting the background painted shapes (there is a bundle at 50% off). "You are incredible" "you've got this" "believe in yourself" The All About Cake sentiment set is 50% off. I love the bold "today is all about you" sentiment for birthdays and there's a nice "celebrate!" too. I didn't get the cake dies. The sentiments stand alone really well. I love the Bold and Brushy alpha stamps. I'm scrolling backwards, starting with the cheapest stuff, not convinced I really need to shop for anything rn. I'm going to have to think long and hard about the tweet life bundle... it's been on my wishlist since it came out. I love it, but do I need it?? I'm learning to paint quirky watercolor birds.

I decided, given my poor track record with the sale, to go through the regular catalog, at least the categories likely to be of interest, then see if they're on sale when it starts.
But I went through sentiments and didn't notice either Painted Sayings or All About Cake.

Well, thanks to you joblackford, I've added the Painted Sayings to my wishlist as well You're right, they'll be great for Cards for cubs! The other items that I am hoping to snag are: * Whimsical Wings stamps and dies * Boho Butterfly Bundle (yes, I know these first two are both butterflies) * Sweet Summer Bundle * All the Letters dies * All the Numbers dies If I'm able to grab all these, I'll be a happy camper! Anyone else feel like sharing your wishlist?

Two things I put on my wish list prior to looking at the sale list are in the 50% bucket: Weathered Wood background stamp and the Uplifting Thoughts bundle. The Stitched Foliage cover die on my list is 30% off. I'll also look at the sentiment sets Jo recommended.

Was everyone able to get what they wanted?
I had my selections in my shopping cart so all I had to do was add my CC and checkout, which I did at exactly 8am my time. Looks like everything was in stock when it was placed, hurray.

I had also loaded up my cart before they took the site down. I wasn't sure if they would still be there, but they were. I forgot it started today so missed out on an alphabet die set, but got everything else. I was interested in Painted Sayings, All About Cake and Threads of Kindness stamps for similar reasons as Jo - good for donation cards.
Kite Turnabout (stamps) All About Cake (stamps) For the Record (stamps & dies) Greatest Hits (stamps) Painted Sayings (stamps) Cutie Pie Alphabet (dies) Threads of Kindness (stamps)

I've only used C & 9th items through SCT Delivered events and they've never been my favorites, so I wasn't paying any attention to this sale. Then I got Jennifer McGuire's email today with cards using the Primrose dies. Holy smokes!! Those are amazing cards! I bought that and their variety pack of cardstock to use with them. Can't wait until they arrive!

They do have some very unusual, very well thought-out products. I didn't get everything on my list. I decided that until I work through the giant 12x12 woodgrain patterned paper from Michael's, I don't need that background stamp and it wasn't on the "last chance" list. Maybe next year. One thing on my list was sold out by the time I got there, but it was low on my list anyway. I got the painted messages, not the cake set. I did get my uplifting expressions, though it's the images and die that intrigue me there, not the sentiments. And the cover die.

Half of my list is always stuff she’s influenced me to buy, so I try not to jump in too fast. I really liked the bird cards she did with the Tweet Life bundle but that was already sold out too. I was adding things to my cart then checking my stash for similar items and I think I’m back to an empty cart now. I was going to get a giant maple leaf die set but I actually prefer the Honey Bee one - remembered that after watching some videos. And while looking at the fall leaf turnabout I found a video on how to make your own turnabout with smallish stamps. I tried it with the fall leaf stamps I have and it worked quite well. (But 80% of the time I reach for patterned paper anyway!!) I haven’t made good use the stuff I had to have during the last sale and I have a habit of throwing good money after bad, trying to make a set work by buying more elements. Checking my stash I found some cool stamps I’d kind of forgotten about, so I’m going to sit this one out.

Yup. One of the things I bought last summer is the only Turnabout that I know of that creates a focal image rather than, essentially, patterned paper. Now, I'll keep the two turnabouts I've received in event kits, but I'm not adding more.

I've had that die set since it first came out (full price...boo) and have only used it on one card :/ After seeing JM's cards, I'm reinspired to use them. Finally!

I want to be Jo when I grow up. Instead, I went overboard at this sale (my first concord and 9th purchase): Modern mosaic die Electic blooms bundle (the one set I really wanted) Exclamations bundle Delicate blossoms stamp (like I really need more sentiments) Painted sayings stamp (because of you enablers) Triangle confetti stamp (my first turn about stamp) Make a wish dies Confetti dots stencil (my first turn about stencil)
What I didn't get because they were sold out: Mix and match everyday sentiments bundle and double stripe card front die.

I forgot the sale started on Sunday so by the time I checked some of the non-sale stuff I wanted was out of stock already. I priced everything I wanted and it was only going to save me 37¢ to order now then to wait until July and order with the summer camp discount code. Hopefully what I want will be back in stock before the code expires or it just wasn’t meant to be.

Hi girls. Double check your order confirmation. I was charged shipping and shouldn't have been as I met their free shipping threshold. C9 replied to my query fairly quickly and stated that there was a glitch, and many people were charged shipping when they should not have been. They refunded the charge to my CC.

I received my order yesterday, hurray! It was like it was my birthday or something, I don’t typically make this big a purchase of sets. I probably won’t really dig in until after the PF event next weekend but I had to make one card front with the Tweet Life set this morning, that set is just soooooooocute! I can’t wait to come up with some fun cards with it. I think it will be particularly good for Sending Smiles to Seniors donations.
As anyone else received their order, and have you had a chance to play yet?
