At the grocery store where I work at, the checkers unload the carts themselves. One of the checkers thanks every customer for having their 12 packs of sodas barcode side up. It makes them scanning it with their gun much easier.
It puts less strain on the checker and speeds up the process so the customer can get out quicker.
Whats a win win experience that you have had?

Today I took back an Amazon purchase to Kohls and got a 15% off Kohl's coupon. Since I was in the store any way I bought some shorts and spent enough to receive some Kohl's cash which starts being valid tomorrow. On a not so win-win situation the shorts don't fit... but since I have to go back to spend the Kohl's cash, I can exchange them while I'm there, and don't need to make a 3rd trip  Totally unrelated: I will also try the shorts on in the dressing room when I go back! For some reason even though I've worn the same size pants for 10 years, and ALL my pants are that size, I didn't think I needed to, stupid me. |

You work hard grocery retail. I promise to make myself show bar codes up from now on. I don’t go to stores often so I will make a point to learn this habit. |
