I find his beard more unattractive than his tattoos. But in general, I dont find neck/face tattoos to be attractive at all. A good sleeve or chest tattoo? Im good with. Mom, I really always thought I was the only person that never cared for beards..... I dont know why I dont care for them, but facial hair really just bothers me. Luckily, my husband never ever was able to grow facial hair.

I really like tattoos and men with tattoos. Despite not having any myself most of my previous boyfriends and dates all were heavily tattooed. I ended up marrying a clean cut, tattoo and piercing free man.

I don't particularly care for tattoos, therefore I don't have any. However, I'm guessing if I fell for a guy with tattoos, I would love them. My husband doesn't have any.

I do not like the really long ZZ Top/hipster/brewer beards though. Yuck. I don't mind tattoos but I hate, hate, hate guages. It makes my stomach turn.

So it's pretty hashed over at this point but I'll add my thoughts. I do not mind tattoos at all. The guy in question wouldn't get a second look from me on his. Now, I will admit, that facial tats might just be over the line for me. I would do all in my power to dissuade my kids from that. But in the end, their money, their body. Of my 3 kids, my DD and my YDS have ink. My ODS says that is something he will never do. That's all fine.
I have 4. Each and every one of the has a background and emotional attachment to it. They are small but can all be seen. My latest was a Christmas gift from YDS. It is the Camino shell from when I walked a portion of the Camino in October. I will say my only regret is that the first 3 are not fine line tattos. My shell is a fine line and I love it! I love my others but if I had know about the fine line options, I would have done that with all of them. Live and learn. Am I done? Who knows? I will never say never.
Now, I will admit when I see Posty or Jelly, I do sometimes think why, oh why? But not my story to tell. I especially just go dang boy, the clean face that is presented is just so good when I have seen cleaned-up Posty in TSwift's Fortnight video.
I am an older woman, working in a church. Pretty adamant that no one can tell me what I am able to do with my body. So there's that attitude with my ink. Works in the opposite directions with others who chose that.

I have one on my shoulder that is very meaningful and personal to me. I got it when I turned 40. Was planning on getting another one on my other shoulder at my next decade birthday, but never did.
I love tattoos on both men & women. But I agree with some of the others. If you can afford them without going without food or shelter, then have at it. It's your body. But if your cupboards are bare and your family is hungry, and you spend money on tats, then you suck. Take care of your family first.

I like a well-done tattoo, meaning one done by a real artist, not done by someone without skills. And I don’t mind them anywhere on a body with the exception of face, neck, and sometimes the back of hands. With the hands, it depends on what it is and how much it covers. I have seen a set of wedding bands done on an older married couple that were incredible. Apparently the man could not wear his wedding ring at work due to risk of injury but wanted to have a reminder of his wife at all times. He suggested they get matching wedding rings tattooed so their commitment was always with them. It was really sweet. There is a woman that lived near my home in California. She had porphyria, a disease where the sun touching your skin caused blisters. She started getting tattoos to hide the scars. She would be outside walking with all of her skin covered with the exception of her face peeking out under her large hat. She had 95% of her body covered in tattoos. She held the Guinness record for most tattoos on a woman. I used to see her out on her regular walks in various places all over town. She could walk for miles and miles! So she is my exception to disliking tattoos on a face. She had very colorful and fun tattoos. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julia_Gnuse

My husband has 11 so yes, I like tattoos. I love that they make him look like a BAMF & sometimes people get that impression of him but he's actually an incredibly sweet soft-hearted teddy bear who loves NPR, reads multiple books a week, and attends a local knitting group. His are all coverable, however, which was very intentional on his part & which I like considering I don't care for a few of his. I have pretty arbitrary "rules" for where I like tattoos on guys and where I don't; I'm not a fan of face, neck, hand, or foot tattoos or ones that are vulgar. My husband's are on his arms, chest, and back. I just got my very first tattoo which is a very small one on the inside of my wrist. Now if we are talking about facial hair... I've never seen a man who didn't look better to me with than without. My husband has a beard that he is not the biggest fan of but he knows how much of a turn-on it is for me so he keeps it.

i don't mind tattoos unless they are in very visible areas (or what i've heard referred to as job-killer areas) like the face, neck and hands. generally areas that can't be covered up.

For the most part, I think tattoos are hot and so are beards!

I've never like facial hair. I've never seen a man I thought looked better with a beard or mustache. Huge turnoff for me.

I'm not a beard fan either. But, it's based on a very negative experience as a young child with a man who had a beard. Luckily dh has never wanted to grow a beard. No to face or neck tattoos. I'm OK with them in other places, but could never get one myself (the idea makes me feel claustrophobic).

I am not really a fan of tattoos in general--on men or women. But I think they look slightly better on men if they aren't excessive. Everyone can do what they want with their body, but lots of piercings, tattoos, and boldly colored hair are not attractive to me.

It’s not so much about hating tattoos for me, it’s loving the human body. Skin. Tattoos are like graffiti to me. The artist may be talented and put a lot of work into it, but it’s still an eyesore to me.
And don’t even get me started on people whose body is just a random canvas of mismatched images or sayings like the practice page of a sketch pad.
Some people at least plan out symmetry and esthetics when they get tattoos, which is better, but were I to see them naked id probably prefer natural unless the artist was very talented.
I have no problem with tattoos that correct a problem, like adding a nipple to breast reconstruction, or even just eyebrow for the deprived as long as it’s natural. And the imaginative way some amputation patients and mastectomy patients has my admiration and empathy. So obviously I’m not as adamant as I initially thought.

Sometimes I'm just in awe of how they got into a location in the first place...

My younger brother has a ton on his arms, legs, etc., but none on his face or neck. Basically he can hide them if needed for work (he's a CT tech).
My husband has facial hair and I LOVE it. I love him with a beard. He has quite the baby face with out it.
I think what would surprise my parents more at this point is if I were to get my ears pierced for this first time instead of learning that my brother got yet another tattoo.
