My sweet Mama passed away last Thursday, June 6. It was not a shock, but it was somewhat unexpected and fairly quick. My Dad is in good health and is doing OK, just broken hearted. He was with her at the very end and it was peaceful. I was able to get to town on Tuesday and help, and was in the house at the time. We were able to do a small family service on Saturday while the people she really cared about were in town, and my Dad (or Dad and I, depending on his wishes) will inter her once she has been cremated. She may have been the kindest person I've ever known, and had a way of making everyone feel loved. If I may ask anything, please hug someone you love today. Make someone smile and feel listened to, again in her honor. I am thankful I was blessed with her, and will miss her always. I'm so sorry for your loss.  |

I'm so very sorry about the loss of your wonderful mother. When my mother was dying she gave me a bit of wisdom. She told me that I was suffering at the time, but she promised that joy would return. Joy did return. It will for you, as well. One day you'll think of your mom and smile or laugh. For now, please take good, loving care of yourself and let others do the same for you.
May your mother's memory be for a blessing to all who knew her.
