I have been a pinning fool today. I now have 180 layouts on my scrapbook layout board. That may not sound like a lot to some, but it's getting overwhelming to me. I need to split them up, but I'm not sure how. If you have multiple layout boards, how do you organize them?

I have seen some people organize them by number of photos or theme. The only organization I have to mine are: Project Life, Scrapbook Techniques, mini albums/travel journals. As for actual layouts, once I feel I have too many on one board, I just create another.

I've also seen it by number of photos, but I've been thinking about doing it by technique/style. Most layouts are not one I want to exactly copy, but I like something about them that I want to try.

Right now I December Daily, Disney, Project Life, Project life disney, and scrapbooking. I'm thinking of putting my sketches in a separate board though.
My paper layout ideas are divided by number of pics in each layout. Then divided again by single page and double page. If my pin boards get this big, I will do the same.

I have Scrapbook, Project Life & Scrap Lift (I move them there if I lift a layout so it won't fill up my inspiration folder).

I used to just have "scrapbook layouts" and then I was a pinning fool and had SO MANY that I had to separate by type (when they are well over 100 pins, I start looking for themes so I can split them out into separate boards)...currently my boards are separated into: Amusement parks Birthday Christmas Christmas prep Disney (I have about 7 boards splitting up Disney LOs) Family Heritage Holidays (for non Christmas) School (I have about 4 boards splitting up school LOs) Summer (I have about 4 boards splitting up summer LOs) Vacation Vacation-beach Winter Winter Snow YES....went pinning crazy! I just have layouts and layouts-storytelling - the latter being the ones that particularly inspire me due to number of photos and/or space for journaling. I also have 'inspiration' boards - colour & pattern, layout & design, technique & texture, text, photos. On these I pin a variety of images, including layouts, which inspire me for specific reasons, though I do tend to forget about them when pinning layouts.

Mine are organized by number of pictures, but I also have a sketch board, a Disney board, and a two page layout board.

I have a huge overwhelming board that needs to be sorted. I'm thrilled to read the ideas here.
One thing I have done is to set up a board of layouts I want to use in the near future. Having a board with less than 10 ideas keeps me from searching through 1,000 pins to find the right inspiration.

I have two. One, is Scrappy-layouts & sketches, and I usually add a description like 1 page 4 photos | then who/where and also theme, like Disney or Baby. My second board is Scrappy-PL & Digital elements, that's where I have all the free PL cards or fonts and such. I have thought of separating out and making theme boards, but haven't made up my mind!

I have ones by the number of photos, Disney, SB tricks and techniques, SB details - for when I like a specific part of the layout- typically because I have the same embellishment I want to use, one for each SC kit I have, and then I have other specific themes- beach, birthday, etc. Most of my pins are based on the number of photos though.

I have card inspiration ( that one is out of control & I need to organize it better.) & card sketches . Then I have scrappy, sketchy & double layouts . I like the # of photos idea . Someday.....

I am the strange one here. I have them by company ( although now they all can be thrown into american crafts) I also have them
1 picture horizontal
1 picture vertical
1 pic vert+ 1 pic horizontal
2 pic vert
2 pic horizontal
Etc it goess up to five or more like that
Then travel

It's all over the place. Mostly sorted by theme. 8.5x11 pages sorted by number of pictures, a general scrapbooking board, project life inspiration, and project life board.

I have hundreds in the past week! After hearing about 2 peas shutting down, I started pinning the layouts I have bookmarked. Then I realized that there are also other scrapbook layouts for pinterest. I am new to pinterest, so didn't know there was so much out there! It's like another gallery! I have them all under scrapbook. I am so new to pinterest that it would take me to long to do it by category. And I know I have several on there more than once. But once I tried to delete a recipe I had on twice and instead I deleted the whole recipe board. Don't want to take any chances, so will keep the copies and just throw it all under scrapbooking.
