The morning paper says this is the most expensive home in Texas. You can have it for a mere $28 million. I went looking to see who owned it--the man who once owned it is a physician who had to do 5 years in prison for insurance fraud. I found this article which shows the interior, at least back in 2018.
It has certainly increased in price since 2018 when the article was written. Features: 10 car garage wine grotto - holds 1,000 bottles of wine
commercial elevator 16,000 sq ft. living area

There is one on the market here in Houston for $49.9 million. Of the two, I much prefer the Dallas house. Although the grounds of the local one are amazing, especially for being in the middle of Houston. $49.9 Million Castle Mansion |

While the Highland Park home is nice, I dont necessarily think it's $28mil nice. I honestly expected more.

I'm just still trying to compute...master suite of "over" 2638 square feet??? (Also, that's a very precise number to use the term "over" with, so is it 2638.634 square feet or something?) I just can't even fathom how you'd feel that much space with JUST YOUR MASTER SUITE! I mean, it truly does not compute for me!
Oh, yeah, and disgusting criminal, blah blah blah...
