I’m kinda losing steam with these shows…..
Part of me wants to finish all the seasons because I hate to leave things unfinished…..but I’m not feeling the love for it any more!

I loved Buffy! Saw all the seasons. I didn’t watch all of Angel. It wasn’t the same without Buffy.

Angel jump the shirt way before the baby for me. I honestly did not love the last season of Buffy. I really hated this woman they brought in for Willow's love interest. But I did like the way it was wrapped up so I think it's worth it. |

I’m a die hard buffy fan as in went around to all the stores to get the seasons on dvd when they originally were released, after I’d already bought them on video tape as I needed to replace them - and also went and bought the box set later on to save some room (which I still have). I have the cd from the musical episode.
I have the soundtrack.
Angel is great season one, okay season two, poke my eye out with a stick after that (why did they kill off Doyle? Oh that’s right… they had to…) You are a legend if you lasted this long. You have my permission to give up now 🤣
Buffy was fantastic, then okay, and limped to the end by the end of season six/season seven. Worth watching to finish the story arc and see its conclusion and where the characters all ended up… except for dawn. I do not like the dawn character. Ruined the show like the April character in Gilmore girls imo.
Ready to hear from all those who disagree… 🦗 🦗 🦗

Ready to hear from all those who disagree I liked Dawn, the way she was introduced was genius, I much preferred her over Tara (who I was glad to see the back of!) I'm due a rewatch very soon. |

I don't get the Dawn hate. Tara was ok, I just think the actress wasn't great. I really dislike the other girl Willow falls for. She is the one character that I could barely stand watching.

Okay okay, the way Dawn was introduced was BRILLIANT, I suppose the whole “buffy being surrogate single mother while working a minimum wage job, paying bills and depressed” just didn’t feel like the way I wanted the show to go. Also the “annoying little sister ruining my life and hanging with my friends all the time” was probably a little too close to home for me (oldest of the sisters in my house too). Lurkingpea I agree with you on the Tara replacement, that was one extreme to another personality wise which I found an interesting (read did not like) choice. Tara was a submissive, mouse kind of a character like willow was before she became a part of the scoobies so I suppose they were doing a character arc for willow now being the strong one? And I’m team oz forever. Can’t help it, I missed him when he was gone 😂 |

I have scrapbook pages I made ages ago about Buffy and Angel 😆. I also know all the lyrics to the Buffy musical episode. What You Feel is my favorite track from the Buffy musical CD.
I haven’t watched either in a very long time. I’m almost afraid to ruin the nostalgia in case it doesn’t hold up. I remember sending flowers to WB as part of an Angel fan campaign when they were considering cancelling the show because someone found out flowers were the only thing that actually made it to the executive offices upon delivery. There were so many flowers delivered it made the news.
Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
