While I realize this has been discussed before and brands recommended the search feature here sucks eggs, to put it bluntly. DD recently asked me about compression socks as she is doing a good deal of travel (including long haul flights) for her job now. As a result, she is having issues with feet and legs swelling but has to hit the ground running for meetings and events. Does anyone have any tried and true brands or styles that they recommend? Double bonus points if they are cute (she's 36 and a bit of fashionista!). In a similar vein, has anyone tried these Lymphatic Massage Leggings? I've recently seen them touted as fantastic for helping during travel days. Thinking those could be a good travel option for her as well. Thanks for any recommendations or suggestions you might have!

I have several pair of sheer knee highs. Medium compression. I order them from a catalog.

I wear inexpensive ones from eBay... It think mine are 20/30. I have had expensive ones and find little difference with most. I often get my Christmas ones out in the heat of summer. They make me happy.
I haven't flown in a long time, but while sitting i would make sure to 'run in place' with my feet and legs even while wearing the socks.

I’d check with your local podiatrist. I think they have really good recommendations.

I wear diabetic knee high socks all the time. I flew across country twice, Seattle to Charlestown, and Nashville to Seattle, with no problem. I wear them all the time.

I have bought and returned several pairs as I find them too *compressing*, if that makes sense.

I have Jobst brand that are from the podiatrist. They squeeze my toes too much. I have bombas knee high compression socks and I line them but they’re a little short for my short legs-weirdly.
I also have Nurseyard. I like these best. You can give your email for a discount. They have prints and neutrals. I think I paid about $36 for 2 pairs after 20% off.
I also bought toeless ones off Amazon. Those were awful. My feet swelled horribly.

socks I bought these for my Europe trip last fall and they worked well for me. I have average calves and arthritic ankles.

I have Jobst brand that are from the podiatrist. They squeeze my toes too much. I also have Jobst, as the company my DH works for also owns Jobst, so I got mine through him and they are custom, not an off the shelf size. I like this as my previous ones were too long in the foot to get the right width for my fat calves.[/span]
