My DD's grad party is in about a month and we're looking for bulk candy for our centerpieces for the tables. Is there any on-line place better than Amazon? I'm thinking Hershey's, sour candy, etc. Nothing too crazy but a bit of a variety. I know the current trend is party favors so I was thinking of putting out bags for people to take with them. For my other DD's party, we did personalized M and M's in small tins. That was fun but we want to do something different.
Congratulations to all of the baby P's who are graduating this year!

We do not. I have a Costco, though.

I was going to suggest Winco too, darn. They have the best bulk candy selection.

I think Walmart has the best price on candy compared to Amazon, Target, Grocery Stores.
You can order online and pick up. They do have a wide variety of candy.
Party City and Party America stores have bulk candy, but they are a bit pricey and many are unwrapped that one would need to have scoops to avoid germy hands. ;p;

If you have a Costco Business Center, they sell a lot of different candies in bulk packaging. They cater to restaurants and food marts. You can shop with a regular Costco membership.

One of my previous neighbors was filling containers for her grandchild’s party and went to the 99 cent store for the candy. She purchased multiple packages of those mini candy bars that usually come 8 or 12 to a pack. The store near us had at least a dozen different kinds like Hershey bars, Butterfinger, Heath, Mars, Snickers, etc. I have seen these in Target and Walmart also. I really like that they are individually wrapped, especially if there will be lots of people serving themselves from the container.

Do you have a Sprouts? I don’t know how prices compare, but they have some bulk bins of candy.

We recently put out candy at a party---just bowls of candy on each guest table, and extra bowls sprinkled around the serving and gift tables as well, and I waited for sales at Target and purchased individually wrapped packages there. We wound up needing far less than I expected, so buying a small amount first allowed me to see how much I really needed to fill the bowls.

I ordered bulk chocolate candy bars to include in Christmas gifts for nursing home staff one year. I had a quote added to the wrapper. They have lots of bulk candy. just candy.com

Fair warning, you are going to have a ton of candy left over. People dont really take it unless they are eating it on the spot.

Fair warning, you are going to have a ton of candy left over. People dont really take it unless they are eating it on the spot. Since it’s a grad party, I’d be willing to bet the kids will take it if you make it crystal clear that they can. My DD’s friend had a party for her birthday and asked each kid to bring a couple random bags to mix up. DD said that they ate it all afternoon. The birthday kid didn’t tell any of the guests to take some home or provide a bag or box to do so, so my kid didn’t take any when she left. If the host would have given DD a bag she would have brought some home. cat2007 another place you can check is www.oldtimecandy.com they have all kinds broken down by the decade it was popular which is kind of fun. The problem with Costco Business Center is that most of what they sell is full sized candy that you’d buy if you have a convenience store or vending machine business. They don’t really have much of what I would call bulk candy. If you put “bulk candy near me” into Google Maps it will show you all the candy stores in your area. You should be able to find what you need that way too.
