I was thinking the same, if I was living alone, I would absolutely love this place.

A bit heavy on the stuff to dust, but the choices beneath the added stuff I really like. I loved the bathroom, and we're planning on putting in red formica countertops in our kitchen, so I was totally on board for that bit. The green in the one bedroom made me just smile immediately. And I loved the angles in the bedrooms due to the dormers, too.

The only things that weren't for me personally were the painted railing on the staircase, but even that was still great because it was different and it was "them" (the homeowner(s)) and the lack of a spot for even a small dining table. I really prefer a small standard table over a eat-at counter, or eating on a sofa, or a bar-height table, etc.

But on the whole, the house felt great to me. So welcoming, so fun, so full of personality and history.
