Not a damn thing. CP used to be my favorite paper line for Christmas after OA went out of business.
Now? It's the same thing every year. The same candy canes, the same Santas. The same snowflakes. The same tree branches. The same ornaments. The same the same the same.
Over it.

Yeah a lot of these look like papers weve seen before. Boring.

I actually like some of this. I don't know if I like it enough to buy it, it will depend what other Christmas lines are released, but I find the presents paper light and bright enough to use for a summer Christmas, and I like the paper with the animals although it rather looks like the bear and the reindeer are being served up for lunch on a nice bed of greens. I also think the gingerbread alpha is cute.

You know, I like some of the papers, I really do, BUT I just already have so many papers that look like those. I have no idea what percentage of scrapbookers are new to the hobby. And maybe these companies are catering to them, thinking they haven't seen all of these same type of things before. But for those of us who have been at this for decades, now, it's just harder to put something out that's new. And yes, eventually one might run low on holiday paper and need to buy more, BUT, again, some of use have been buying more than we needed for quite some time, too. So that isn't a real problem for us yet.

Crate Paper has never been a line I’ve gone after. However, I do quite like the gingerbread Thickers. I may need to pick those up.

I rarely buy from CP, but I really like the paper with packages on the front, blue floral on the back. I'll probably buy some of that.
I do love the weight of CP's paper.

I like this quite a lot. I do wish it was more of a blue-red instead of the more orange-red, but I think the line is cute. I have some older PinkFresh Christmas and I am hoping they work well together as I would like to pick up some of the embellishments.

This looks like a lot of stuff I already have. I'm sure I'll end up with some of it as a clearance purchase.

Just OK. I too used to buy quite a bit of Crate Paper but now it's like so many other lines, sort of standardized. Thanks PaperAngel.

Crate Paper has always been my favorite for Christmas lines but this really fell flat for me. Nothing special or different. It doesn’t really look like CP to me either. Maybe I’ll feel differently if I see it in person but it’s kinda meh. I do like the gingerbread alphas and I have the sheet from Paper Person’s baking collection a few years ago. They’re really cute on pages but I’m almost out so I would pick those up if I see them on sale or in store.

The colours don't work for me. But I love the house papers. I am a sucker for those.
When checking this out, I found Mittens and Mistletoe at ACOT. And I LOVE their idea for an advent calendar--all the little village and tree boxes filled with treats. Is that a new line? Was it around last year? Will there be a new set that goes with Holly Jolly? I really love that concept and might just order that.

Its Advent Calendar (still available here at SB.com; out of stock at ACOT) was revealed with the collection. Therefore, the Specialty Paper in CP - Holly Jolly is likely the only 3D village that will be released for this collection.

Nothing I need here, except for the gingerbread letter Thickers. I love that alphabet.

We have a family tradition of brunch and cookie decorating with my adult children, their spouses and our (1 so far!) grandchild.
I need to live another 20 years to use up the amount of Christmas stuff I have.
But I am *SO* buying a couple sets of those cookie thickers!!🥰

... I do love the weight of CP's paper. Is it cardstock weight like Carta Bella, 49 & Market, etc.? Also, is it smooth or textured?

I really don't buy Christmas paper, I just rarely have anything to scrap with it since my family doesn't do much for the holidays. But! I really this paper! It's so cute, I could see myself using it to make cards.

... I do wish it was more of a blue-red instead of the more orange-red ... Unfortunately, tomato red has been popular, especially in holiday collections, for a few years. I would also like a cooler red better, but IMHO a true red would be ideal!
