I have a tiny AE stamp that says “More Merry Memories” that I’d really like to use on everyday pages. But I’m having trouble blocking the “merry” out when inking. It seems simple, but I just haven’t figured out a good technique. Anyone have a good suggestion?

Are you wanting to use "merry" at some point? If not, you can carefully surgically remove it with an exacto knife.
I have had success using washi tape to cover unwanted words. Stick it down, ink, and pull it off before stamping.

The words are so tiny that washi isn’t really working. I may try slicing it off so it can be used year round. Thanks!

I usually just have a post it note (sticky part) that I cut to the size of what I want to block out, PLUS what is on either side (so two of them.)
Depending on the layout.. I would ink the stamp put the post it note over the.... Merry Memories, and stamp down the Make portion. Then do the opposite, clean the stamp (or stamp off...) do my best to only stamp the Memories part, then put the the other post it portion over the Make Merry part, and only the inked Memories is exposed, and stamp that down.
The post it is less sticky (and unwieldy) than the washi, and easier to cut to size. Also easier to reposition or replace if I make a mess. I usually only focus on the left to right if trying to use a sentiment like that, so I don't put alot of effort into the North South trimming of the post it, if that makes sense.
I hope this helps!

I took a look at the stamp and it’s tiny. I don’t think I can shave it without risking damage to the rest of it. I’m going to try the post it note. I’ve been concentrating on only inking the words I want, but I think inking it all, then covering that one word makes sense. Thank you!

You can use a marker to only ink the words/area that you want stamped. A inked cotton swab would probably work as well.

I would stamp it onto a piece of cardstocck, cut it apart, and use only the words I wanted.
