I would leave in that situation too. About the only lines I wait in are at Disneyland. But, I’ve got that down to a science and don’t generally wait more than 20 minutes. Me three. My husband gets mad because I won’t wait in line for restaurants. If I can sit in the bar and wait for my table, sure, but I am not milling around on the sidewalk for an hour, I don’t care what anyone said about how you have to try their whatever.

No. I'm from a very small town, if I go in to the store, post office, bank (don't much anymore) and there is more than 2 people in line I think ugggg a line.

Rarely. If I walk into a store, and there is a huge line for checkout, I just turn right around. Likewise if I shop and find a huge line has sprouted up while I was shopping, I still don't wait. Here, Ulta is the worst offender. For restaurants, we have about a 20 minute limit. For the most part, restaurants overinflate their estimates, so if we are told it is a 20 minute wait, it is usually 10 or less. There are exceptions - let's way we visit New Orleans...we're going to join the football field sized line to get in Cafe du Monde....and it always moves much quicker that we imagine.
