I have a friend who hates this person and hates that person, and she comes across as so very negative. So I always make a point of not using the word "hate" in reference to a person when I'm with her. You're right, I don't actually "hate" any of these people! I should have just said "dislike" or "can't stand" like I started the thread with. I truly didn't mean my post as a handslap, and I hope you didn't take it that way, but now reading it back it comes across as a bit handslappy! It was really jarring to me reading everyone say "I hate XYZ, I hate ABC..." Probably because I am trying to model positive words in front of my friend, because honestly it is so fricken exhausting dealing the constant negativity. Not that I'm Pollyanna, by any stretch of the imagination haha! |

I can't think of anyone who I irrationally can't stand. I never liked Matt Lauer. Something about him always gave off creepy skeevy vibes to me, so when it came out that he IS creepy and skeevy, I felt vindicated for not liking him.
The Kardashians bug me, but for no real reason because I have never watched their show. LOL I have zero desire to.
Other than that, I can't think anyone I irrationally can't stand. The people I can't stand there are very good reasons for that. LOL

Sofia Coppola. Ever since she ruined Godfather 3 I just can't stand her, or any of her weird movies. The last I saw was Priscilla and it was so boring I turned it off after 45 minutes. OF COURSE she directed it. She's so critically acclaimed, too. I just don't get it.
I don't care for other celebrities as listed in this thread too, but I don't think they qualify as 'irrational' not to like them, lol.
But I love Nicole Kidman and she's one of my favorite actresses. LOVE her and Renee Zellweger and anything they act in. IDC about their plastic surgeries, I think they are both amazing.
