Pretty Little Studio is now available at ACOT. The following collection is scheduled to ship in August: You Are My Sunshine (see digital release discussed in this thread*). Thoughts? What's on your wish list? *UPDATE: Per AussieMeg 's post on p.2, the digital collection is now available on the company website ( HERE).

They’re pretty but a little too busy for me to use for crafting.

Love it although i am a little overwhelmed, there’s a lot of product. And why is there a winter kitty in a summer collection? Not a big deal , and she’s super cute, just seems confusing.

Well as you can probably tell, I am super excited about this collection! I will be buying every paper pack on offer, and a lot of the die cuts and stickers.

I don't love their use of vintage images, but they have lots of really great basics that I'd happily add to my stash, especially their labels and word stickers and alphas.

I love the colors, and I will almost certainly get that accent pack. I also really like the star and border die-cuts.
There's just SO much, that I find myself first looking to weed out what I definitely do not want. I mean, my gosh, there are 15 paper packs alone! I need a note pad near by to figure out what's what! Which are double sided, which are not, which are specialty papers, which are what size.
I'm not jumping for joy over single-sided sheets, so that also curbs my enthusiasm a bit. If all of the sheets were double sided (of the non-specialty papers), and there wasn't so darn much product, I'd probably actually buy more, as backwards as that may sound.
I definitely don't need any of the cat or dog elements. I love vintage normally, but nothing else about this line makes me want to use those elements with it. But I do like the faux stitches stickers and the star stickers.
I want to love the little alphas, so that they could replace my much adored OA mini market stickers, but I don't love the font on them all that much. And I'm not interested in any of the titles or phrase stickers or die-cuts, either.
So ultimately, while I love the overall bright, colorful look of it, I really don't feel I want to buy that much of it.

I really like a lot of this collection. I'm a fan of bright color, basic designs that don't lean toward formal like 49 & Market.
I've not noticed 8x9 paper before - is it designed so you have an inch to punch holes and insert in an 8x8 album without a page protector?

They are offering vellum and transparencies too. I’m definitely adding to my cart.

Some of the papers are nice. And would work well with VB embellishments I have as well as another summer line.
I like that you can get single sided paper!
Also the dogs in the embellishment packs remind me of dogs from Golden Books.

Really pretty. Love the colours. I like the artsy vibe--much like Vicki Boutin's papers.
So many choices from one release! How many collections to they release in one year?

I am still going through the collection. I love a lot of it and as pantsonfire mentioned - it would match well with some of VB's lines (of which I have plenty). I don't get the pet stuff although it's cool that some of the embellishments are for cats or dogs. Last year I bought some of their Sunkissed collection and I didn't care for the paper. It was slick or something so I doubt I'll buy more from this brand. This post is a good reminder to take a look at it and use what I can. It wasn't cheap and I bought a lot of it. As always, thank you PaperAngel for keeping us up to date on new releases.

I like a lot of it, I'm a sucker for rainbow-ish things.
I don't think I need a whole paper collection, but will definitely pick and choose some of this one.

I was really drawn to this, but I bought their Sunkissed collection last year and I haven't used it. I might get a bit to go with what I bought, and I think it will play well with my VB Sweet Rush.
I do agree that I don't love the use of vintage imagery within the collections...it's not for me, but I appreciate that you can shop around it.

Last year I bought some of their Sunkissed collection and I didn't care for the paper. It was slick or something I wonder if it makes a difference in texture if you buy the double sided or the single sided paper? Their stuff is so cute but I do not want slick paper if that's what it is.

I like a lot of it, but like others have said, there is too much to choose from! That's not usually the complaint! LOL! I might pick up a few items just for fun. A lot of the papers are cute!

I like this collection. The colors remind me of popsicles which is perfect for summer layouts.

I love Pretty Little Studio merchandise. Glad it will be available at ACOT.
The one and only time, that I ordered directly from Pretty Little Studio.....my order didn't ship until 21 or 22 days after my order was placed. I had NO preorders in my order...so there shouldn't have been more than a few days processing time.
Waiting 21 or 22 days to ship out an order is ridiculous! I was never going to order from PLT again, but if I can get it from ACOT, then I will order it there.

They print in house, and are printed to order. “Pretty Little Studio is a one woman shop run by me, Melissa Ross, a graphic designer. Our local print shop prints all of our papers & ephemera. All products are cut, die-cut and packaged in my studio in South Carolina.” If it’s a preorder, it will say how long it will be before they are able to ship. You can also get it at Paper Issues after it arrives, and use my code KISHA for a 20% on that order, or any other order you place there.

UPDATE: I noticed that ACOT added the suggestion: "Overwhelmed by all the options in this line? Try filtering by "Sub Collection" to see all of the different item types."

It's really cute but before I invest a lot of money I would like to know more about the texture of the paper if anybody could please tell me. Is there a difference in the texture/thickness between the single and double sided? Is the paper shiny or slick?

Is there a difference in the texture/thickness between the single and double sided? Is the paper shiny or slick? It's hard to explain. There is no texture. It's a smooth cardstock. There is a tiny bit of sheen to it, but only on the dark papers. They changed from their own printer to a local print shop last fall- so it's not a shiny as it used to be. My last order, the papers were really nice, they weren't super slick like they were last year. You can try and order just one sheet and try it out. Or maybe email them and see if they will send you a sample.

Getting big Sassafras Lass vibes from a lot of these, and I need them. But the vintage cats/dogs feel like they wandered over from a different line.

... I've not noticed 8x9 paper before - is it designed so you have an inch to punch holes and insert in an 8x8 album without a page protector? I also have never seen this size offered & was puzzled, given the non-speciality papers are 8x8. Since only the Clear Overlay Pack & Vellum Pack are 8x9, I suspect you're correct (i.e. 8x9 allows flexibility for the specialty papers to either be trimmed to 8x8 or used outside of a page protector)!
