Wow is all I can say. This documentary is so raw and shocking. Celine really handles herself with grace and humility. She's truly a lovely human.
Has anyone watched her new documentary? It's eye opening.

I haven't watched it, but I will. I saw the interview she did on the Today Show with Hoda and they showed some clips from the documentary. She has really gone through some tough times.

It was top pick when I went into Prime last night but having seen photos of her, very distressed, earlier in the day I didn't think I could watch it.

Oh thanks for the reminder, I'll put it on today. I saw her when she first started her residency in Las Vegas. I won a trip to Vegas, which included airfare, hotel, tickets to her show and a few dinners. She was definitely on my bucket list to see, so it was so exciting to actually do it.
DH wasn't thrilled initially. But after the show, he said it was probably one of the best concerts he has ever seen in his life. This is a Ozzy fan. haha. She was so good. So humble. And the performance. oh sooo good.
anyways, will watch today!!

Oh my gosh, because of this thread I just started watching it and it's just making me cry! She's one of my favorite artists of all time and saw her in Las Vegas from the 2nd row when she first went out there. She has one of best, if not the best, voices of all time. I don't know if I can keep watching.

I changed my mind and have just finished watching. It was riveting. I rarely just 'watch' any program, I'm normally doing something else at the same time but I could not take my eyes off the screen. What an amazing woman she is. I'm so sorry for what she's going through and also that her husband is no longer there to support her at a time when she's probably needed him the most.

Her staff was incredible during her episode. The PT was so attentive. that was my thinking too, what a great PT she has. So calm and reassuring yet getting her the care she needed in the moment. When she snapped at her son to quit picking or she was going to make him vacuum cracked me up. Oh the joy of teenagers!

I know nothing about Celine Dion and didn't Google. Could you guys give specifics or maybe that's a spoiler? as I'd like to know more about what moved you as I'm always interested in real experiences and what people have gone through and their reactions or just tell me to bugger off.

I haven't watched this documentary yet, but from what I understand it shows a lot about her health condition. How she lives with it, and manages it.

There are also many clips of her performing and with her family. She is a very gracious and humble woman and very gutsy for allowing the cameras to see what she is enduring.

Has anyone watched her new documentary? Where is it streaming? I would like to see it. I saw a little clip where she was having a health episode and my heart just broke for her, you could see how much pain she was in. What a terrible condition.

I keep hearing this is such a good, moving documentary, but I'm afraid to watch. I love her so much this breaks my heart for her. When she first announced her diagnosis I went on TikTok to research the disease and there are several people who posted videos when they suffer an attack, and oh my God it's horrifying. I get really bad foot cramps sometimes and the pain is so awful, I can't even begin to imagine what it would be like for your entire body to cramp like that, hard enough to literally break bones? What a cruel and horrible disease, MG. Lucky to those of you who got to see her perform live. I never did and I do regret it now, wow workingclassdog what an amazing trip to win! How the heck did you get so lucky?!

Don't watch if you think it might upset you but she does recover and goes on with her day.

My best friend is a huge fan, went out to Vegas twice to see her, I was with her the second time and both concerts were cancelled last minute. I remember we got a ride from the airport to the hotel when we got there and the driver said she cancels all the time. We were thinking, what the heck?! Now knowing, feeling guilty. She did finally get to see Céline, I forget where but she went with her daughters and had the best time. Im so glad she saw her, now knowing what is going on. She texted me this morning, she watched this yesterday and it has wrecked her. Not sure if I want to see it.

How the heck did you get so lucky?! I won the trip through a building that our company occupied an office. They would throw a big BBQ in the parking lot for the tenants. One of the businesses was a travel agency and they donated the 'big' prize. It was a $3,000 voucher for Vegas (really it was just $3,000 for anywhere you wanted to go) but we ended up picking Vegas anyways because it was the biggest bang for our buck. It covered 2 airfares, hotel for five nights, tickets for the show and two dinners and a breakfast. I used up every single dollar of that $3,000.. lol. I finished watching it yesterday.. OMG.. she is a strong person.. to have herself filmed in some of those situations is just ... uggg almost to hard to watch. She is trying SO hard to overcome this disease. There are a lot of clips from shows, when she was younger and at home. It's a good one to watch and see her with her kids.

For those who are not sure if the documentary is something they can bear to watch, NBC aired a special interview between Hoda Kotb & Celine, which discusses (and shows a clips from) the documentary. Her producer from the documentary joins the interview for a short while, and they do discuss the medical emergency Celine had while filming the documentary. So it may be a chance for you to get an idea of what the documentary covers, and better decide if you want to watch it. What struck me in the interview with Hoda was that despite how heartbreaking the situation is, Celine is incredibly determined that she will improve. And I found that incredibly touching. She was still smiling. Still trying to live her life as she wishes to live it for as much time as she can each day---even if it's just a few moments here and there. If you missed it, and you have a Peacock account, you can see it here: www.nbc.com/celines-story-an-nbc-news-special-with-hoda-kotbI did see that someone has posted it on YouTube as well.

I watched it a couple days ago. I found it so heartbreaking. She is a fighter though!!! One thing that she said that I keep thinking about was when she said that she has traveled the world but hasn’t seen the world. So many superstars must feel this way and have an almost lonely life. It’s so sad that she can’t sing the way she used to, that would be hard to take.
