Sitting my husband’s hospital room waiting for an ENT consult. The order seems to have been misplaced so he may end up staying another night. I m a bit frustrated, I must say.

I just sat down at my desk, after cleaning two bathrooms....My cleaning lady was sick, so DH washed the kitchen floor yesterday, and I am doing the BR's
Sadly my Gracie was sick last night after we went to bed, so the carpet in the dining room needs more attention after I put the BR's back together 😢

Sitting at the kitchen counter taking a break from the items on my to-do list to have the house ready for company tomorrow. I’ve gotten a lot crossed off but still have a bunch more to do. Luckily, the biggest and most strenuous have been done.

Northeastern Alberta. Just got in from walking dd’s dogs around our yard. Thinking it must be crazy hot where you are, Zee.I use that trick at the gas pump only when it’s crazy COLD here— if I can’t find a full service gas station. Yesterday it was 107 degrees in the city in traffic, 99 at home in my yard. Not too hot here today (only 85) but I just don't care to stand there pumping the gas  And yes it was certainly a necessity to get back inside sometimes in the dead of winter in Iowa while fueling up out in a small country town. Windchill sometimes -50 or less, arctic winds blowing unstopped across the bare cornfields behind Casey's. Misery! |

Sitting in my recliner... we just had lunch and dh is going to his parents... I pulled out some Halloween ornament pieces I am bead embroidering for my dds office door...
Its a Witch with her broom stick and the saying is Witch betta have my candy... based on Rhianna's song....
I am watching youtube... and peaing as I drop beads all over my lap desk... lol

I'm pumping gas, inside the car, with the auto thing on, on my phone. Which I never knew wasn't what everyone does until I read here that some people don't use the things on the pump that keeps it running.
But that's not important, I just wondered WHERE you are all peaing right now! Bonus points if you admit to being on the toilet. 😂 My local Bjs removed those things and it pisses me off. Otherwise, I am peaing from my desk at home, keeping an eye on reddit for verizon international coverage updates... |

I just got home from the grocery store and came upstairs to my craft room to check-in with the peas. In MI we have signs on the pumps saying you must stay out of your car while pumping gas. I’ve seen attendants turn off pumps if people get back into their cars. |

Just at my office working, with my little desk fan on. Just got back from lunch, stopped at my fave local place called Tikka Grill. I got grilled tikka chicken breast, saffron rice and black beans. So good. But it was carby and now I'm fighting getting drowsy. I wfh several days a week and now I actually enjoy coming into the office now that it's no every single damn day.
Then I popped into the warehouse and packaged a dress to return via Fed Ex. My warehouse will stick it on the Fed Ex truck for me.

I'm at the office taking a much-needed break. I've been working 80 hours a week for the past 3 weeks to finish our budget and the deadline is tomorrow. I'm hoping there won't be any major changes and I can enjoy my Michigan vacation next week.

Eating lunch at work. I use the little auto thing, but don't go back in my car, as I'm told that is a risky thing. Just make sure to ground yourself before reaching for the gas pump. Cell phone usage at the pump is supposedly a no-no as well, but it was debunked on mythbusters. |

I also just finished hand cutting some scrappy papers for a LO I plan on doing tonight.

At my desk in my office/laundry room taking a break with a big glass of ice water. Just got back from a day of thrift and antique store shopping - one of my favorite things to do! Supper tonight will be a five ingredient peanut butter pasta recipe from the New York Times site so I have no advanced prep to do. Awesome, yesterday I had a long drive to pick up supplies for some projects and I made a dash into a Goodwill close by. I found a TON of things to upcycle/repurpose into art. There is NOTHING I love more than treasure hunting in the wild. It's a lot harder to find things nowadays since they're a lot savvier at most secondhand stores, and I have to wade through a lot more 90s/00s mom decor now, but there are still some cool vintage finds 😍 |
