Who do you expect Trump to bring on the ticket with him? I don't necessarily have a preference for who I would want, but I certainly have a preference of who I don't want (MTG, SHS - Im looking at you). I am using the list of 19 possibilities that USA Today have listed in their article, here. linkSo who do you think Trump will pick? Or will he go rogue and pick someone that is on no ones list? I think he will go with Vivek Ramaswamy. Vivek seems to defend Trump at every turn and I could see that Trump would find that attractive in a candidate. |

Too many butt kissers to choose from. Tim and Vivek would win award imo, but as far as trying to decide who HE will pick? No idea. Someone who will help him win a third time if he wins a second.

I think Vivek might steal the stage so I don’t think he will go with him. That and I’m not sure if his base would vote for him.
Earlier today I saw speculation on Burgum.

Very unlikely to pick a female or a POC. He could not deal with that..... Huge negative comments in the past about Ramaswamy, his religion at the top of their list.

I think Rubio and Donalds have both said they will move if chosen.
If Trump was smart, he would pick Rubio, but I don’t think he will. He will probably choose someone who is more of an a&s kisser. After Pence refused to not certify the election results, Trump is looking for someone with complete loyalty to him. Not sure if Trump’s ego will allow him to pick someone smarter than him, someone who might upstage him or someone who’s said really terrible things. He also needs someone who will say the 2020 election was stolen and someone who won’t accept the 2024 results if he loses. Elise Stefanik meets all of those requirements, but I don’t think he’ll pick a woman. Burgum meets those requirements, but another old white guy from a state he’s going to win anyway doesn’t really help him. Maybe Vance if he can get past the negative things he’s said?
Trump is unpredictable though, so who knows?

My guess is Burgum. Vance is also a strong possibility. But Vance is good in interviews and some find him charismatic. I think that Trump wants someone dull who won’t outshine him.
But who knows?

Whomever he considers the most loyal. At this point, he needs nothing to boost his campaign to win. He just needs someone that's the least objectionable and who won't steal his spotlight.
My least objectionable of a highly undesirable bunch would be Rubio but they are both currently residents of the same state.

Next, I guess, would be "little Marco".
He won't go with a woman, and Scott and Ramaswamy are too black and too brown, respectively.
