Damn. Damn.
Ok. Do you have an appointment to discuss a treatment plan? Knowing you are moving forward helps. The sitting with just the knowledge is brutal.
We are here for you. PM people if you don’t want all the details out there, but so so many of us here have been through this.

I'm so sorry. I have been the recipient of that news and I know how hard it is to hear. Once you know more and have a treatment plan in place, it gets much easier and gives you something to focus on. Take a deep breath. Try to relax. I know but try! Spend some time this weekend doing something you enjoy. Depending on your treatment plan, life is going to get crazy for awhile so rest up. It's been 15 years since I was diagnosed and believe me, there is life after a breast cancer diagnosis. We're here for you.

I an very sorry to read your update but glad you know now! Like txmary said, things will move very fast at first Ave you might feel overwhelmed by the amount of info you receive.
Keep a notebook or have your DH or other support person do it.
For me it's been almost 8 years since the positive biopsy and it seems like a lifetime ago. I hope 8 years from now you will be thinking the same thing. Hugs

I’m so sorry you got the diagnosis, it is so scary to hear. I can remember my thoughts just racing when I got mine.
Treatment plans and options are so varied now-make sure to write down questions beforehand and it is okay to ask and reask the same question more than once if things are confusing,
The peas are a wealth of knowledge and we will be behind as you get better and go through treatment! You got this (even if right now you feel you don’t!-we are here for you!)

I'm so sorry. {hugs}
I'm another who had breast cancer in 2021 and I'm still here. I had a mastectomy with sentinel node removal, chemo, a year of injections and will be on aromatase inhibitors for 7 years in total. Mine had not spread to my lymph nodes, but it was ER/PR+ and HER2+, hence the injections.
It's OK. This is the worst part; the tests, the WAITING, the results, learning all about it, being numb. Then you get a plan, a production line of treatment and you just get on with it. You're going to be OK.
Note EVERYTHING down. You won't remember everything they tell you.
If you have any questions, I'm more than happy to PM or chat.

I'm so sorry to hear this. This part is the hardest where they haven't laid it all out for you along with facts and figures and your treatment plan. Don't let your mind spin out. The good news is, cancer treatment is amazing these days. I'm a survivor and I know at least a dozen more. Yeah, this all sucks, but the odds are in your favor and you're in good company. Plus, they give you a lot of good $#it at breast cancer walks.

I am sorry about your diagnosis but there is plenty of pea support. I am two years out from my breast cancer that was a complete surprise as well. Take advantage of the wisdom here on this board and any and all resources your medical system has to offer.
