I’m so sorry to hear your news. I went thru that in 2021. Had lumpectomy and radiation, on letriziole for 1-2 more years.
There are so many different types of breast cancer and treatments. If you can, DON’T google. Your doctor/oncologist and their nurses will explain everything. It will be a wealth of information. The peas are correct, write it down.

I'm sorry to see your update. I hope you make a full recovery! Minnesota senator Amy Klobuchar is going through the same thing right now. She previously was diagnosed with breast cancer and is being treated for this now.

I am really sorry to read your news. Another survivor here, over 25 years. (I now have a different cancer, but it’s not the breast cancer that’s going to kill me.)
Just wanted to tell you, you can do this. You will get through treatment one step at a time. Relax your expectations of yourself, accept help when it’s offered, and try to slow down your life a bit while you're dealing with this.

I’m so sorry to read of your diagnosis and will be praying for you.
I was diagnosed with AML, acute myeloid leukemia, in December and made a vow not to Google anything. Best decision I ever made. Your doctor and nurses will give you accurate information at your appointments. Try to keep your home life “normal”.

I so agree with not googling and stay off the internet. But I also want to share one good website. Breastcancer.org. Our very own OB/Gyn pea, Melissa, shared it with me as a trusted site when I was first diagnosed and it became a place of great support and friendship with women who were dealing with the same things I was. It’s been 15 years and I am still in contact with many of them today. Sometimes you just need to talk to someone who is going through the same thing. You’re in my prayers.
