Hello! This is probably a stupid question, but I need help. I only really get to scrapbook anymore at the annual Kaitlyn's Crop fundraiser. Every year when I pull out my stuff from last year to repack, I notice my pages from the year prior are lifting. Since I only scrapbook once a year I can't really invest in expensive adhesive, and usually use a runner from Michael's or the Zig pens. Is there a better, longer lasting adhesive I can get that's not crazy expensive? I'm so out of the loop with this stuff.
TIA!!

I swear by my ATG gun. Once you buy the gun, refills are very reasonable at Tape Jungle.

I use Scotch double sided tape. My layouts from 20 years ago are still holding together great.

I've been using score-tape lately - this stuff is strong (i.e. unforgiving)!

I swear by my ATG gun. Once you buy the gun, refills are very reasonable at Tape Jungle. Same! I have been using my ATG for years and all the adhesive has been working great, no lifting or coming loose. I can't say the same for Thickers or some alphabet stickers so I've been using my ATG or liquid glue to put on the back and the combo seems to help the alphas stick better.

A mix of photo squares, tape runners, ATG gun and some glue for paper.. so far so good even years and years and years later. The only problems I have is usually something that is heavy, like metals that I used a lot years ago. Those fall off once and awhile.

ATG is great and my "normal" adhesive but buying an "atg gun" is spendy these days (they used to be cheap...)
Koyuko is really good, but can be hard to find. An alternative is the scrapbook(.com) yellow applicator dot adhesive. Seems to be holding, and I find it easy to use.

I've used many different runners - AdTech, Tombow, EZ Runner Grand by 3L, Creative Memories. All have had their issues. I've pulled out albums and pages have come apart. I've even had liquid adhesives come loose. My albums have always been stored indoors and always in a heated/cooled room. I keep hoping someday to find something that holds and doesn't break the bank.

I use an ATG gun with refills from tape depot.
But, i have had to repair some mini albums, especially corners and alphas that fell off. I use Bearly Arts glue for repairs, it only takes a dab and it seems to be holding up .

I use an ATG gun, and bought it with a coupon from Michaels.

I use ATG with refills from tape depot or tape jungle. I haven’t had issues with them that I have noticed. I need ideas for embelishments. Sequins and such, liquid glue always fails snd hoping that glue dots are going to last.

I've use doubled sided adhesive squares since 1996, and everything is still very secured and adhered.... in all of my scrapbooks.

I've used the original EZ Runner (Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L), usually the (red) permanent strips & (green) repositional dots, for almost two decades! HTH & you find your ideal adhesive.

Double sided photo squares. I get them in boxes of 500 at HL. I use them for photos and paper. For other things, like glitter cardstock or heavy attachments, HL has two sided tape, the outside piece is red. Comes in 2 different widths and holds almost anything onto anything. HL is my closest store.

Thank you all for your advice! I'm going to look into several of these over the next 2 weeks.

ATG has been my go-to adhesive for over 20 years. For adhering photos to cardstock I use a Creative Memories tape runner in the corners of the photo.

I prefer liquid glue, but if you’re only scrapping once a year, you probably want to go with a tape runner. I have always had success with any of Tombow’s adhesives, liquid or tape.
Pages I made with zig glue, in particular the glue pen, have not held up and have fallen apart.
