I started a new job yesterday and for the first time I'm using a MacBook. Most of it make sense since I have an iphone and ipad but there are little things that I'm not used to (keyboard commands, email settings).
If you are a Mac user, do you have suggestions on where I can look for tutorials? I was going to look on youtube but there are tons of people and I don't have time to sit and watch videos until I find what I need.
If you have suggestions - please send them my way!
Thanks

not online, but if you have an Apple store in your area, they have fantastic free classes available. They are called sessions. Also there are a few youtube channels that I like, but especially macmostvideo.

I was going to say go visit the kids at the apple store, they'll hook you up. It's in their best interest to educate you on apple products, that way you'll keep buying them. This is the way.

You can just alphabetize your files. The last time I used Windows it was a nightmare to figure out how to get it to do what I wanted. Click/drag/drop Keyboard shortcutsApple Support is amazing......800-275-2273 Don't hesitate to call if you get stuck!

OH and I forgot to add....if you call Apple. They may ask to view your screen. It's safe! They cannot do a darn thing to your stuff. They can only point with an arrow that will appear. It's a great tool that they have used for years!

It's a great tool that they have used for years! I LOVE this feature! The Apple person just moves the big red arrow and says to me "click here". Saves them endless frustration and time... they don't have to say "look up the the left corner, click blah blah, then on the drop down menu look for such-and-such.." etc. lol. Just move the red arrow and I follow and click what they show me to click.

Hi,
There is a good podcast called MacMost by Gary Rosenzweig, and he explains various macOS topics (current) very well! If you use the Apple Podcast app, the podcast is in a video format.
If you need help right away, under the HELP menu, there is a macOS user guide.
I would also look into the classes at your local Apple Store!
Take care, Lisa
