Eh, I personally don't like it and could never live there without thinking of how much Pee-Wee creeped me out.

Cool house! I loved Pee Wees Playhouse as a kid and his movies. We live 25-30 min away from the Cabazon Dinosaurs that were in his movie. They painted the t rex in his suit when he passed.

It has a lot of cool features, but not for me to live in.

I love it. The only thing I would change would be the color of the counter in the kitchen and the paint in the aviary. I love MCM houses. Not what I would have pictured for Paul Reubens though. He obviously wasn't Pee Wee Herman in real life, but I would have expected a bit more pizzazz.

I just saw the show this link is from — Zillow Gone Wild — while at the nail salon the other day and immediately thought of the peas.

I like it for what it is, and some elements of it I would be happy to live with, but others would be more of a "rent this place for a week and enjoy how cool it is, but then be happy to go back home" kind of a deal. I love that retro golden yellow corner bar, the sitting room with the eggplant colored wallpaper, and the general look of the kitchen. But the general MCM style home tends to be more open than I prefer and this house definitely has aspects of that. I like rooms I can close off to have peace and quiet, or to feel cozy, or to have more privacy, etc.

Can't see it too clearly, but the wallpaper looks fun. I love a bit of whimsy in a home.
If I moved to LA (extremely unlikely), it would be a great choice.

MCM is not my style, but I actually like this one more than most. I still couldn't handle that kitchen, especially the counters.

I'm not into MCM style houses but I love the catio. I'd love to build one attached to my house.

I really like it. I think it is interesting that it has a bird area.
I love MCM though. I'm typing this on a MCM desk right now.

It's pretty cool, but it didn't really do anything for me. Lots of dark wood again.

I keep wanting to like these MCM homes but it's just not my style. This one seems to be done very well though.

Ok what am I missing? I don’t really like it. And I really don’t like the bird aviary.

Where's Chairy? Loved Pee-Wee's Playhouse, but Paul Reubens was a mess. I love mid century modern homes, but don't love the wood. That sunken tub would scare me. One bathroom slip and you're in the OR getting a new hip.

It's not usually my style at all but that one is pretty easy on the eye...calming and probably easy to live in. Having said that I'd never choose that style home

Ok what am I missing? I don’t really like it. And I really don’t like the bird aviary. I think you have to be a fan of Mid Century Modern Homes. I love them and this is one that kept a lot of things. A lot of people would immediately start redoing the kitchen or doing something with the bathroom. I love the outdoor areas.

Not my style. Looks straight out of the 1960s. Don't hate it. Don't love it.

Not a fan. It feels desolate and creepy to me, like its stuck in the 1960s and never made it to present day. I get eery time-capsule vibes or something.
