Sometimes I watch these TT lawn mowing videos, they are fast action and all you hear is zoom zoom zoom from the lawn mower or wack wack wack from the weed eater.. I guess that is the same thing? Particularly 'sb mowing'.. lol.. I have no idea why I have to stop when I see their videos. I LOVE SB Mowing but usually I have the sound off. A yard makeover is heaven to me. I also love that he does it for free. He's good people. |

I actively avoid those. I find the noises irritating. I love the silence in my home throughout the day. I rarely even turn on music unless on a cleaning spree or late in the afternoon when I start cooking. I despise noise at night. I am definitely not a "white noise" person for sleep. And I've become one of those people who avoid noisy restaurant environments. In fact, get off my lawn. Gawd, I sound curmudgeonly, don't I? This, exactly. I’ll even add on that I make my (yes “make”) my DH put on headphones when he watches TV on the family room television. The shows he watches! Screaming, yelling, sirens, gun shots, I don’t even have to look up to tell the show is full of violence. And then the game shows. Lord have mercy. The screaming the yelling, the hand clapping. Heaven helped me. I fully accept that I am old and cranky. I went to a seminar about tinnitus with my sister the other day. While I would loved to get rid of the tinnitus, magnifying all the other sounds throughout the day? no thank you. I’m seriously reconsidering getting hearing aids. |

I am not a fan. I watch FabFitFun sneaks from people that get their boxes early and several do this style. I hate the tapping on boxes and products snd scratching on fabrics snd such. It just really sets my nerves off. Sometimes I watch with the sound off. They are anything but relaxing for me.
The ones you described might not be bad snd might be relaxing but I’m not going to go looking for them.

Nope, not for me. I like silence when I work or am not actively engaged in watching TV or listening to music.
I do have to heve white noise when I sleep tho.

No, although I just love the Hoof GP. The sound of his knives on the cow hooves is very soothing. Who knew I’d enjoy watching cows getting pedicures.

If you like garden clean ups you might like this m.youtube.com/@flawlesscleaningservicesHe started out doing free projects for his local community like power washing the unused childrens playground, the paths and steps around churches and schools etc. Some involved gardens, that aspect grew. He was joined by his Dad and they tackle bigger projects for older people, all free. Other people offer help with roofing, tree cutting and window replacement etc. It's lovely to see gardens and homes reclaimed and the lives of older people improved and worries taken off their shoulders. Well worth a watch. |

When I go out to restaurants, I point out all the aspects that make them noisy—e.g. lots of metal, wood and other hard surfaces, etc.—while we wait for our food. |

I enjoy ASMR and fall asleep to it every night. I do not like whispering and listen only to the soft spoken ASMR. I hate mouth and eating sounds and prefer personal care, makeup and travel/hotel type videos.
Favourites are Latte, Calliope Whispers, JonieASMR, Petite Stacey and a bunch of others.

I just wanted to come back and add that despite not liking ASMR at all, I still see numerous ASMR videos come up on YouTube, which tells me that there are tons of them out there for people who do actively search for them & watch them. And that tells me that you definitely have a lot of company in liking them.  |

Dh has tinnitus too. We often use an app for picking low noise restaurants. It’s called SoundPrint. You can look up places and it will give you a decibel rating. You can also scan places while you are there to help others.

I watch a few yard cleanup channels. One of my favorites is from Germany (Kustorez) and he's always cutting back overgrown hedges. It isn't just the hedge trimming, I'm also fascinated with these little German housing developments. They are so tidy.
