I hate most noise. I feel like I’m surrounded by it most of the time so I crave silence. Any time DH is home, the TV is on. And as he’s gotten older he’s also gotten deafer so the volume is always higher than I like. Plus sometimes he watches videos on Facebook WHILE he’s watching TV. 🙄 Then add in DD’s YouTube videos or video game noise, and it’s all just.too.much. My own dog’s barking sends me over the edge.
I almost always have my phone volume turned way down or even silent most of the time. I especially despise when I’m playing some game on my phone or iPad and the ads have noise even though I have the game volume itself all the way off. When I’m home alone, I never have the tv on or music playing.
My only exception is I like having the consistent white noise of a fan running at night to help drown out the sound of DH’s CPAP machine because it’s not a consistent sound.

I like it quiet when I'm home alone. I do listen to audiobooks while I craft.
I hate windchimes with a passion. I don't want to listen to them at night when I'm trying to sleep.
I am also triggered by people fighting. I had an administrative assistant that would get in shouting matches on the phone with her DH. I had to walk away.
