Besides Life360 because we have been having issues with them, can you recommend another free Iphone tracker so I can
use with my daughters? Thanks.

I just use the “find my” app that comes with the iPhone. Does that suffice?

You would need your daughter to open the app and allow her location to be shared with you. After you open the app, click on “people” at the bottom. If your phones are registered to the same account, you may already be following her. Look under “devices”.

We use Find My iPhone too. Even though we are all adults now. It helped me get my phone back when I left it sitting on a shelf of towels in Target. It’s handy when I want to know how close dd or dh are to home when I’m cooking dinner.

Another one that just uses findmyiphone. It's way less intrusive than Life360, so my adult kids don't mind me continuing to have it. Don't use it often, but it's been handy when someone forgets a phone and keeps me from worrying if they're doing a long distance drive or something.

You can also just share locations with each other. This is what we do in our family (DDs are 18 and 20). Our family shorthand for checking someone's location is "stalking". I rarely stalk them - generally only if I'm trying to figure out if someone will be home for supper or not, or if they're out later than usual and I'm going to bed soon. TBH I think *they* stalk us much more than we do. |
