108/110 for about a week now, today it's predicted to be 114. I guess it gives me all day to stay indoors and do stuff. What's the temp where you are?

it's humid here in the upper mid-atlantic state area of the US. I'm inland, so no sea breezes to help. You wake up and it's already 90% humidity outside. Blech. Then it reaches the 90s in temps., which alone, not terrible, but with 90% humidity or more, oh gosh!
We don't have central a/c or even window a/c (except for in my one son's bedroom), so it's long days for us when the weather is like this. If we had reached the point where we had all of our windows restored, we'd be in much better shape, because old houses were built with temperature regulation in mind. BUT, we have half a million projects, and the windows haven't been done yet. So despite having many windows, in most rooms we can only open one.

Ugh, we had quite the heatwave here in DFW with feels like temps around 110 so I hid inside. Luckily we have AC but it's been brutal.
it's only projected to be in the mid 90s so I'm looking forward to it.

It was 25C at 8am here <gag>...that is supposed to be our high for the day - I guess we will see this afternoon as it usually gets hotter as the day goes on.

106° yesterday and today it is supposed to be 101°.
Towards the end of next week, we are back up to 105° to 108°.
We are having our mid August weather VERY early this year. Makes me nervous for actual August.
We usually have a nice June with gloom and a mild July with 90's temps. Then mod to late August we get the over 100 temps.
I hope we have an early fall this year because this sucks.

It was 110° yesterday, going to be 112° today and *cool* off to 107° tomorrow. We missed 17 days of great weather here when we were on vacation in May in Scandinavia and Iceland. Wish we were back in Iceland.

73° and sunny with a forecast high today of 78°. It’s been rainy just about every weekend for months, so this is a really nice change. The big downside to all the recent rain is that the lake water hasn’t had a chance to warm up much.

It is going to be 86 today in Seattle and then 90 each of the next three days. So gross. I know others are facing higher temps but we’re not all air-conditioned here in the PNW.
It is funny, because I was in Sacramento mid-week where it was considerably hotter, but I tolerated it better because there is a/c everywhere. Good a/c!

Here in Western New York. The temperature is about 80° but the humidity sucks. I think I sweated off 10 pounds vacuuming my mother‘s pool
thank God for air-conditioning

It's been high 90s here, with a "feels like" of over 100 because of the humidity. My neighbors are in the Netherlands at the moment and they're posting photos of themselves wearing sweatshirts. I texted them a screenshot of our week's forecast and said "Enjoy those sweatshirts while you have a chance!" lol.

10 day forecast is almost or just over 30C (90F?) that's as hot as we get here. Too hot, I like 22C/72F. June was cool and rainy, the grass is so green and lush. Won't last long if we get too much heat. We have smoke today.

It’s only supposed to get to 96 but it usually gets hotter than they say. It’s supposed to cool down for a couple days 92 then up to 102 and then stay in the high 90’s for the next week.
Like pantsonfire I’m dreading August snd September if it’s already this hot.
114 is just miserable. I hope you get a break soon.

113 today with 18% humidity. The low humidity makes it "fire weather". I'm dreading August & September. We are usually hot then, not now!
Not dropping below 100 until MAYBE NEXT Sunday. We've already been over 100 for the past 6 days. Our night time "lows" are 66-72! So, not really much relief there.
This crap is getting old. How do people in the hot states live?
I live in north central valley CA not Arizona or Nevada or Texas!

Well Palm Springs is at 124° and Death Valley could reach 130° and it broke a record today.
Gross.

We have had some odd weather in Northern Texas the last two days. On the 4th of July we were over 100 degrees. Yesterday the high was 87! And today it is 95. The hurricane will probably effect our weather in the coming days.

We finally turned on our AC for the first time this year. It is about 86-89 outside. The downstairs is fine, but upstairs is like an oven. I just turned it on at 2PM, and we’ll let it run until about 5 or until it hits 76, whichever comes first. The thermostat said it was 78 inside. Ugh! After that we can open the windows.

It's 114 outside right now and it's not even the hottest part of the day. My a/c hasn't shut off in hours and it's holding at about 85 in here. It got up to 89 last night in the house so I'm expecting low 90s today. It sucks and I wish I was at work. I'm very worried about my horses because they are idiots and just in full sun all day long. Could go in a shelter, could stand under a shade tree or a sprinkler but they will not.

The Okanagan in BC is finally heating up in a bad way…39C (102F) in the forecast for Wednesday. 🥵
I’m glad the season started with cooler weather and rain. Hopefully it will help keep the forest fires at bay this year.

I’m in WA but moved North from Seattle a couple years ago. High of 76 today - was so lovely. And not to rub salt in it but I have built in AC now and it’s an absolute game changer for sleeping. Best of luck to you. Our old house would get miserably hot for those couple weeks in the summer…

88 here right now…and we are under a heat advisory. lol. PNW = heat wimps. 😀 I lived most of my life in the PNW and it's definitely gotten hotter over the years. One thing my ExH did when we moved into our house was to add A/C. The problem is that the house wasn't ducted for AC and the downstairs was a meat locker while the upstairs was 20 degrees hotter. Now I'm in DFW where we've been consistently 90-100 and would die without AC. You're not heat wimps, you're just not set up for it!
