Hi Peas, DSO bought me a folding treadmill for my birthday. (It was supposed to be a surprise but came early and I was home at the time of the delivery). He independently thought of this idea as I regularly treadmill in the garage through the heat and cold so he thought I’d like this option for better temperatures in the house lol. I told him the Peas had a thread about these recently and he would be fine with me choosing a different model if you recommend one that suits my needs better.
I can’t find the thread…can someone please link me or tag me? Thanks!

Anyone? Prime days are coming so if you have personal experience with one I’d love to hear about it?

Hi, not sure if this is the thread you are looking for but HERE is one I started. I'm ready to order THIS walking pad but wondering if it'll go on sale more for Amazon Prime Days.

If you are looking at treadmills I purchased this one about 5 months ago. Sole TreadmillI have been really pleased with it. A few things that stand out is how quiet it is. I haven't taken the classes that come with it because I have my ipad and connect to Peloton through it. I did notice you can connect to Peloton directly but I haven't tried that yet. There are also apps you can use through the screen.

What perfect timing!! I was just about to hire a treadmill for two months, so see if I liked it and would actually use it. I mentioned it to a friend yesterday, and she told me that her daughter has a walking pad that I could borrow. I didn't even know walking pads were a thing! So I will borrow it, see what it's like, then think about whether I buy a walking pad or treadmill later.

I have had a treadmill for many many years (it is often long neglected) but I see that the walking pads would go fast enough for me that I would replace my treadmill with one when it breaks. I think people use the walking pads with standing desks, they just walk really slow so they aren't too bouncy.
